This place is worth a visit at least once. Definitely a gem for the buckingham area. My waitress last night was amazing. Wish I remembered her name. Dark hair with glasses. Food was ok for the price. I love how much shrimp came with the mango chili shrimp meal. The big fish sandwich lived up to its name. Dad said he enjoyed the crab cakes. The salads although presented well, had old lettuce in them so I wouldn’t recommend them. I enjoy smaller menus because it usually means better food. The atmosphere was great. Loved the deck. The meals were around $16 a meal and the quality matched the price. We did try to call ahead but no answer, thankfully it wasn’t busy when we got there. If I were in the area for some reason I’d eat here again. But since there’s hundreds of restaurants in lee county I probably wouldn’t make a special trip out there again.

First time here. The outdoor seating is very nice. – out of the sun and few bugs. The service was great. We had the Chicken Caesar Salad and the House Salad with Shrimp. Both were very good and the shrimp salad had a boatload of shrimp. The menu was a bit lacking – more wraps and handhelds would be nice. But there were a few more items we wanted to try, so we’ll be back.

1st time eating here. I would like to start with the call ahead, which worked out amazingly. The window given was very accurate. Wait time to table was very short maybe 30 minutes but waiting wasn’t an issue. Once seated we were greeted with a friendly waitress with a smile on her face. Drink orders places and came out with ease. Once food order was placed it took some time to make it to the table maybe 45-50 minutes but didn’t might because I was having a great time with family. It was also a very busy night. The fries were amazing even slightly cold. The gator bites tasted great and the cowboy burger tasted hot off the grill. Only 2 things would have made this night better. 1# a better waiting area or some type of mosquito repellent. 2# hot fries. I will be returning to try that bread pudding.

We came around 11 am when they opened since they only serve the wraps for lunch 11-2 and that is what we wanted. Service was great, unfortunately I don’t remember my servers name but she was blonde with a black alligator shirt. I asked her about the specials and although she said she hadn’t tried them that they were popular. All the food was delicious, tasted fresh and great seasoning! Will come back next time I am in the area! 🙂

Atmosphere is great but some of the food was disappointing. We were informed that if we wanted to sit outside it would be 1-2 hours, for inside it was 30-40 minutes. Our waiter was nice, and we ordered an Island Monkey (which the establishment posted on their Facebook the week before) but we were brought a clear shot over ice, nothing like what they posted. The server informed us that’s not a normal drink and they didn’t know what it was, I wish they would’ve said something when we ordered it. We then ordered different drinks, I tried the Dirty Blonde and it was good. They have a limited menu, but we ordered conch fritters and coconut shrimp for appetizers and they were both great. The blackened Super Grouper Sandwich was not my favorite, the grouper did not seem very fresh and I did not enjoy it like I typically enjoy grouper. Overall the place definitely has potential and I would be willing to return after being open for a while but I do not have any desire to return any sooner.

Tonight 30 ladies from my subdivision met for dinner at Rum Bucket! Everything was great! The server Courtney did an excellent job. Everything was served promptly and organized-with a smile! Hats off to the chef did a great job! Food was perfect and prompt! Very nice evening!! 6-14-2023

Tucked away in Buckingham, Restaurant has a good feel. Inside and outside dinning and a small “park” you can walk around. with smoking area under roof. Menu is small with promise of adding items in the future. Live music on weekends outside. Food is Good and reasonably priced. Wait staff is friendly but a little inexperienced. I had cowboy burger, excellent.
