I love Rumbi! I wish my husband liked it more because I don’t go as much as I would like. Unlike the Hawaiian atmosphere. My 2 favorite things to get here is a rice bowl with brown rice, chicken, veggies and teriyaki sauce and then I also love the voodoo salad! The flavors to both are so good! This place never disappoints. They also send out deals like buy one get one free. It’s super nice.

I used to love eating here when I was younger. When I went here yesterday there was only two groups here, that should’ve been my first sign to leave.

Food was alright. The service wasn’t great tbh. My husband and I debated what protein to get and both decided on the pulled pork. They brought chicken out for him. It was better than the pork I’ll admit, but it bugged me that they didn’t listen.

I went in with a friend around 6pm and there was only one family in the restaurant. Service was quick and friendly (no one else in line). The food however was quite disappointing. I got a chicken bowl and the chicken was extremely dry. The sauces are a little redeeming but ultimately not enough to compensate. Probably best to get dinner elsewhere.

The service was good and so was the salad, but the rest of the food was honestly pretty unappetizing. The sweet pork was really disappointing, tasting exactly the same as Cafe Rio sweet pork. The coconut rice was weird (maybe just personal preference, sorry), and the chicken & shrimp wasn’t bad, just mediocre (felt like it was a waste of good shrimp that had so much potential). Would not go back or recommend.

The sweet pork salad I had was awful. It left a bitter taste in my mouth. The fries and brownie were not great either. I will never be ordering from here again…

This place has gone down hill lights were out. Team members not wearing correct hats, hair not tied up and ice soda bin barley stocked. Open sign wasn’t even on and no music. Cmon really at least the old manager cared about the restaurant and made sure it was up to par. And no music. What happened.

It was alright. I got the bowl with fire chicken and white rice. Their Cabo style is defintely not worth it. Lacks in quality and taste. The bowl itself was alright. Their sweet potatoe were pretty bomb, though. Defintely recommend those. I don’t know if I would come here again…

I wasn’t expecting much coming here because I’ve been disappointed by mainland island food places before. But I was so wrong!! I got their orange chicken with rice and steamed veggies, and I have never tasted better– not even in Hawaii! I feel like orange chicken is a hit or miss item, but at Rumbi it is definitely a hit! So yummy. I poured the orange sauce over all my veggies too, it was delicious. Next time I think I’ll ask for a bit more sauce.

Great place for lunch! I ordered the Aloha Salad with mango chicken. The crew there happily portioned out the meat, tortilla chips, and pita into separate containers for me (the downside of weighing and tracking every bite you eat). I wish the full salad contained a little more than 72 grams (2.5 ounces) of meat, but I’ve had far worse, and the workers there were so cheerful and helpful, and the food was super fresh, so the experience was very pleasant. I will go there again.
