So the food you get here isn’t actually in the menu. The manager with the pink hair said it would be similar. I asked them why I have a picture in the menu. He said the picture doesn’t mean anything but that was really weird and strange. He wouldn’t take my credit card I had to pay cash and it was the first time I ever ate sushi there was black.

Dirty location. Food is completely devoid of flavor and inedible – I basically paid $10 to NOT eat their food. Before you try this place, seriously ask yourself why there are so many 5 star reviews with no comments. Just don’t do it.

Have been going here since they opened because it is so close to where I live, and I am never disappointed. It is important to note that I have a severe shellfish allergy, and they are always so careful when preparing my food. It is hard to find sushi restaurants that take allergies seriously, but Runa does an excellent job not cross-contaminating my sushi with sushi containing shellfish. Their food is always fresh and they deliver quickly. The employees are always friendly and nice. I recommend the Chicago White Sox roll (ask for extra ginger if you like ginger with your sushi), and their Hawaiian fried rice is a family favorite.

Ordered Mongolian beef, chicken fried rice and vegetable egg rolls. I have purchased from this location over 5 years ago. I couldn’t remember if I liked the food. The chicken fried rice was ok . Nonthing special. I really didn’t like the Mongolian beef dish. It wasn’t spicy like most that I have tried. It was too sweet. No chili peppers in the dish. Most other restaurants have pan fried noodles in the dish. I just couldn’t get past the sweetness of this dish. I probably will not go back.

great service , personally I think its the best sushi spot out here in the southside burbs. and you can really eat alot without breaking the bank. dinner for 2 was 50 bucks.. 2 beers an app and 4 rolls. can’t complain at all.

My sister treated me to dinner (take-out) for my birthday. We got home, began serving the chicken fried rice to each of us, then she screamed and pointed to a dead fly in the rice!!! She called them, I believe it was the owner she spoke to, wow was he seriously RUDE!! First, he wouldn’t believe her about the fly. Then, he offered her a $2 credit…she said umm I don’t think I’d like to eat here again. Then offered a $5 credit. He was extremely mean and unprofessional, saying “I have a business to run!”, trying to discredit her. Somewhere in there she was hung up on, so she called right back. After a lot of insisting on her part, the man agreed to give her money back if she brought back all of the food, and the fly of course. And that was my birthday dinner, which she also mentioned. This happened two years ago, but I remember it very well, and of course will never give them another chance, mostly based on the way we were treated. Unbelievable.
