We love Peruvian food so I came here for lunch with my wife for her birthday. It’s located the Royal Palm shopping center in East Boca Raton. Parking was easy. They have a small outdoor dining area but it was very hot so we sat inside. The passion fruit pisco sours( one of our favorite drinks) were not amazing but still pretty good, the ceviche was definitely the star of the show. Although the lomo saltado didn’t have as much protein as we were hoping for, it was delicious! My tres leches was decent and my wife’s tiramisu was also decent. Service was solid and we’ll definitely be returning to try out their interesting menu.

The food is ok, I based my decision from images. We had ceviche, mahi mahi risotto and a Sushi roll. The risotto was nice, the fish in the ceviche was raw as if they made the ceviche at the time we ordered it, we waited 1 hour to receive the food. Our waiter was a super sweet young man, very attentive.

Nice outdoor seating area. It was chilly outside and they have heaters which was great for me. Food was delicious. Service could improve a little, not so attentive and we were the only customers there at the time. I also wish they could improve the drink menu, I believe there was only 4 cocktail options and they were out of 1 of them at the time.

This is the best Peruvian food and experience we’ve ever had. I don’t know who the chef is, but whoever they are, they are gifted by God. No joke, our compliments to the chef. The staff was awesome! You can’t ask for better attentiveness, politeness, timeliness (on a Saturday night), humbleness, cleanliness, and knowledge. We sat outside, where the decor was nice. There was live music provided by Sergio Mendez. He knows his music and was so good we not only danced, but I made a reservation for him to perform out a future event. The prices are a little high, but I much rather pay more for quality and quality is what we received. My Mahi Mahi, capers, risotto and ceviche sauce was AMAZING! My wife’s lomo saltado was authentic and delicious. The Sangria was the best we’ve ever had. Last, but not least, our server, Daniel did a spectacular job. He was very knowledgeable about the food, to include preparation, customer reviews, and the cut of meats. He told us about the specials and answered all questions thoroughly. Daniel and the entire staff were very attentive and worked well together. They brought a rack for my wife’s pursue and Daniel notice when I told my wife, “it’s your birthday, so pick what you want.” I didn’t know where to take her, but we are glad we found Runa’s Peruvian Cuisine.

We wanted to have ceviche for Father’s Day and chose to dine at Runas. They accommodated us at a table and took our drink orders first, served us drinks and gave us the menu. When we asked for ceviche the waiter informed us that they were out of fish, which made us all raise our eyebrows. It would have been nice for them to have let us know this before we sat down and drinks were served. We really wanted ceviche so we told the waiter we would pay for the drinks and leave to find another place. The waiter came back and informed us that they do have fish, so we asked if the fish was fresh and he told us that the chef had found a box of Mahi, so they were going to prepare ceviche from frozen fish and not fresh. They would have rather served us this to make money, and I’m glad we chose to leave because we found a way better spot with fresh ceviche. This was a horrible experience.

Great food, great service. Marco is a great server, even though he was the only one serving the outside area he made sure to keep asking if everything was OK or we needed anything else. The food was delicious and so were the drinks! We had the special: risotto with seafood in huancaina sauce and the steak cowboy.

If you plan to go, make sure you have patience since there is a lot of waiting to do. Food – not impressed. Tasted too bland. Service was awful! we waited awhile just to be greeted, we were only checked on towards the end of our meal, while the waitress was helping the two tables literally right next to us!

Best ceviche in Boca! The fish is tender and juicy. Almost translucent. Seasoned and cooked to perfection with the right amount of lime and spices accompanied with a slice of sweet potato.

I had the Cau Cau. It was exceptional. I usually don’t post dish pics but this delectable item isn’t featured in the photos and I just had to make sure it got its due. The service was pleasant and attentive without being overbearing. Runas has our vote as being a great place to visit for authentic and intriguing Peruvian seafood dishes.

Take my friend out to eat here after a day at the beach and we loved our ceviche! It was light and refreshing and delicious. Our waitress was nice, but had some kind of issues with her boss and ended up quitting while we were there. The situation was amusing But we were well taken care of by our next waiter And we made sure to tip him well for his services. I wish I had taken some pictures to show you how good are ceviche looked.
