The food here was so delicious. My picky eater son got a cheese pizza that was incredible. The hamburger was tall and delicious. We also got the Chile verde tacos and cauliflower tacos. Portions are BIG. Onion rings were perfection. PLUS the service was great – everyone was so friendly and helpful.

I had the rocky balboa pizza and wow it was awesome. It’s the perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and tangy. If you’re looking for a pizza there, I highly recommend this. I would also recommend staying away from the beignets. The fillings did not have enough potency in their flavors for me.

A very popular eating place in Hollister. Sometimes the wait might be 15 or 20 minutes. The hostess is friendly and accommodating. Once at our table, the weight staff were there pronto and very attentive and professional. The steak bites were really good and the dipping sauce just makes it all better. There’s plenty of portions to fill up your stomach. If you’re in Hollister, give it a try.

This is one of our go to restaurant since it’s just in the City of Hollister. We try to come here in the afternoon, and always like to seat outside, we like fresh air. The food that we order is great. Tasty and juicy. Also, we love their garlic fries. Service is great and fast. The servers are very nice. Keep up the good work:) And atmosphere is nice. Place is clean. We will definitely recommend this place a very chill ambiance.

After 8 years of living in Hollister, we finally gave RR its chance to shine for us. Sadly, with the exception of Round Table, every restaurant we’ve ever frequented has either given us awful service or bad food to the point where we never go back. I’m happy to write that Running Rooster did not disappoint. We ordered fish tacos, onion rings and a cheese burger. Everything was on point, with portions much larger than expected (based on other reviews that complained of too-small portions). I can eat a lot, so when the order of three fish tacos stopped me dead in my tracks at two, that’s a good indicator to me that the portions are fine. Same with the onion rings — they filled the entire container. On-line order system from purchase to pick-up was flawless. So yeah, we’ll definitely be back.

Service was a little slow but other than that a great experience overall. The food was delicious the time between ordering and the food arriving was prompt. Also the checked in with us quite a few times to make sure we had everything we wanted or needed which was great!

I was visiting from out of town. Fun trendy spot. My daughter had the chicken sandwich, she liked it. Neither one of us cared for the seasoning on the fries. I think they had a lot of chili powder on them. I had the ahi tacos . They were tasty, tortillas were a little over cooked. The beer menu has lots of draft choices. There was a full bar in the restaurant. A lot of outdoor seating, with heaters if needed. My favorite part of the meal was the appetizer. We had the garlic knots, they were a cheesy garlic crosont type roll. I definitely will try some other dishes.
