Okay obviously got a new pizza cook. Usually the pizzas are awesome! But as you can see my pizza was burnt. And I asked for a little extra sauce and it looks like I got no sauce. Just not good. I was starving so I ate it. Been a customer here for years. Hate to throw it out there. But the pizza here is a little bit more priced, and I don’t mind that as long as it’s good. Not the case here…

My daughter is a severe alcoholic and over the past six months she’s been ordering home delivery of vodka Runyan Lake Food Center. The liquor delivery has not been directly to the house, but dropped off in our mailbox, under a tree, or at other spots pre-arranged by my daughter and the liquor salesperson.

I used the Runyan Lake Food Center website’s menu to determine if I was going to run into town for a pizza or get one local. I looked up the extra large supreme (16″ – not really extra large) and was expecting to pay $23.99, according to their menu. I didn’t really pay attention to the bill when I rang out since I trusted their website was correct. Needless to say, it’s not. Pizza and three 1 liter bottles of water was just under $45.00…. OUCH!!!! I’ll make the drive to town the next time. As a follow up I did call, and the folks I spoke were polite, but couldn’t provide me with any refund as they said their prices have gone up since Covid but they can’t edit their own website… hmmmmm…might be something to mention when folks order, or close the website down. Lastly, the pizza was good, and I would pay $23.99 for it, but it definitely was not a $35+ pizza.

We wanted to try the gluten free pizza for myself and regular pizza for the rest of the family. It was just alright. It’s close to where we are once a week. Thought it would be convenient, if it was good. But not good enough to go back again. The parking lot is not that great either, but it’s a small place on a corner, so it is what it is.
