Four of us came to Rupee Bar to celebrate a birthday. We got a table outside on the sidewalk. We ordered about half the menu. All the food was delicious and the drinks were excellent. It was fun ordering so many plates and sharing amongst the table. I highly recommend the naan, kale salad, and the Kerala fried chicken. I would happy return to Rupee Bar with just my husband – it would be a wonderful date spot!

I would have given this place 5 stars,but……We made a reservation online, 3 days prior for 9pm. 3 hours before our reservation, the restaurant called to ask if we could come early. We had other plans, so it wasn’t possible. We reach the restaurant at 8:55 only to be greeted by the server in these words, “Hi we will be closing our kitchen in 5-10 mins, but I can get you seated here” that was a turn off. We were very excited visit this place and it did have a really great atmosphere

The Naang is incredible!! I personally really like the Indian Tonic but other alcohols are also really good. Fried chicken is my favourite dish while black cod and lamp shank are also nicely made in a special style that you won’t regret.

Cozy dine in place with outdoor seating. We ordered the mutton rolls and Kerala chicken. Kerala chicken was yumm. The chicken was so tender and juicy. Mutton rolls were okay. The outer coating was too thick. We also ordered the mango soda which was decent enough. The cost is high when you compare with the quantity of food received.

Amazing meal! Came as a group of 4 and split a bunch of plates. Loved the blueberries in the bhel puri, and the mutton rolls were so good we ordered 2 rounds. Also had cocktails, the dal, naan, fried chicken, and scallops and all were delicious. The ultimate highlight was the tart for dessert topped with a wonderfully spiced whipped cream. Service was friendly and fast. Only downside was it was uncomfortably hot inside, particularly at our table which was right next to the kitchen.

Simply amazing. Everything was crunchy on the outside and super tender on the inside. The fish and the shrimp you can tell are very fresh. The flavors are amazing. The endive is quite too sour I must say. But I’m just in LOVE with rupee bar!
