We went for the first time today and were very pleased with the dumplings. The borscht was delicious and reminded me of my grandmother’s. The desert was yummy!

I’m not sure if these are considered Russian or Alaskan dumplings but they were really good, and I’m picky when it comes to food. We tried the potato dumplings and beet salad. The soupy liquid was a bit vinegary and sour but we thought maybe that’s how it’s supposed to be? I would have liked to try more but the price was good for just one meal per person. We also had the warm apple turnover which was mouth watering. Would have been great with ice cream. I liked the seating up stairs. I has a to go order of fully loaded chicken dumplings which my friend liked. I also tried the Russian cake which was also scrumptious.

Honestly wonderful experience. I’ve started exploring downtown Olympia more recently and this is a place I’ve visited a few times now because I’ve loved trying other dumplings in the menu. Reviewing this as vegetarian, the food here is amazing and allows you to easily opt out of meats if you wish for potato and cheese filling, which honestly doesn’t destroy the flavor one bit. Multiple times I’ve gone with friends and even though they eat meat, they’ll order some of the dumplings with potato filling instead just because they enjoy the flavor. It is a little unclear that you have to place your bowl and cutlery in a basket upstairs so it can be washed, but that’s alright. The place you eat is upstairs so its not very accessible for people with mobility issues or wheelchairs or other ailments of the legs. Other than that, the food is magnificent.

So so good! We had the dumplings and I haven’t had anything like it. Staff was very kind. We’re just visiting the city, if we were closer we’d definitely come more often! 6/5 stars for sure!

Had my first experience with borscht here and loved it! The potato and mushroom piroshki was very good too. Spouse enjoyed the beef piroshki. We had the Bird Milk and Napoleon for desserts and those were good also. Note: if you’re dining in, the dining area is up stairs so keep that in mind if you have mobility limitations.

We were here from out of town, and stopped in on our quick trip through, not knowing what to expect. The food was absolutely amazing, and full of so much flavor. Wonderful presentation, and overall great atmosphere and customer service. I would highly recommend this place. If we had this closer to home, I’d be eating here all the time.

I would consider myself a dumpling connoisseur. I like dumplings from all cuisines, and all cultures, with all sorts of toppings. What I do not like are frozen, bland, greasy dumplings. Sadly, these (loaded dumplings) were exactly what I do not like. What you see pictured is what was tossed out.

Came here for the happy hour and was not disappointed. We had a beer and dozen dumplings. The beer was Alaskan Amber, so they don’t skimp on the promo. The dumplings we had were the Buffalo and Classic. They were both delicious with tons of flavor. The dumpling dough is thicker than other dumplings, but that wasn’t an issue. The sauces/broths were amazing, but we wish there was more bread served to soak it up!
