Just added this place to my rotation list… Barbeque is spot on. Had their 1/2 rib slab and 1/2 chicken, tried all their sauces and took a liking to their hot sauce. The mash potatoes, mac and cheese, and pasta salad were delicious.. But the best part of this experience was by far the customer service! Danielle and Ted were absolutely amazing. Told them it was our first time there and made it an amazing experience by explaining the menu, what they like, and were just a in my book. They truly made it a great experience and will definitely be back.

So excited to see the Countryside location. I called in my order & picked up at the drive-thru. Super convenient. The food was just as great as the Elmwood Park location. Love the sliced pork sandwich with fries & applesauce. Been going to a Russell’s for decades. Love it! Never had a bad meal – ever! The new location has picnic tables outside, too. A great option on a nice day

First time and last time coming. Waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes. Finally got my order in but when I got my order they forgot my potato salad. $11.52 and forgot an item and my sandwich is more bread than anything. I work in food industry. Always make sure you double check to make sure you give people their full order. Especially when they are paying for it. Need to step up their game.

My grandfather use to take my father to Russell’s. Now I take my great grand son there. 5 generations. Best beef sandwich and ribs anywhere. Always pick up a jarBBQ sauce to go. Still a family affair.

My family has been going to Russell’s since long before I was born. This Russell’s is fantastic!! The meat in the classic roast pork sandwich was so full and fresh, the sides are great. They give you a WARM bottle of the bbq sauce, no tiny little cups. And the staff is super friendly! Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Ordered ribs, mashed potatoes, potato salad fairly late (around 10pm) on a Friday night. Food was fantastic. Delivery was quick. No complaints whatsoever and it is very hit or miss ordering food at that hour in general. Ribs were great and the mashed potatoes in particular were absolutely delicious. This place is a gem.

So glad we stopped here. Danielle took the time to explain the menu to us, give us an idea on flavors and ingredients, and made some great recommendations. She was super patient, friendly and helpful which can be difficult when a family of 6 is trying to order!! They brought out food out to us and waited while we double checked to make sure we received everything! Stellar customer service! Thank you! The food was fantastic also! I went to Russell’s yesterday evening with my boyfriend and his son. We were all disappointed with the food and service we received. Everything tasted as though it was frozen and thawed as we ordered. Some of the food was not even very warm. The corn muffins were left out, so when I went up to get them they pulled them out of a fridge and went to heat them up…they were ultimately brought to the wrong table when they were heated, so we had to ask for them again. We will never be back. Prior to going we were talking about how you can’t mess up barbecue…this place did!
