I personally believe some of the girls at work the front or the customers are coming and going and checking out to dress a little more professionally considered it’s a family-owned Steakhouse for families. Check Dublin to cook in the back he knows what he is doing. We came up for our grandsons ball tournament and decided to try Russell’s in between games. Good decision. The barbeque chicken and pork sandwiches were better than Bob Sykes. the baked beans and fries were good also. We will stop again when in this neck of the woods.

My husband and I went there and we both had steak medium rare. Mine was burnt, his was raw throughout most of it. We paid overpaid for these steaks. Why 3 stars? The rest of the food was amazing. The waitress, bless her, was nice but was impossible to get a refill on drinks. I can only the describe the atmosphere as chaos, which isn’t the restaurants fault. It was the people that just so happen to be in there at the same time we were. I’m sure a lot of you love this place. This was my first time. My advice, save your money and time, go to Huddle House in Russellville. The food, the atmosphere, their prices, the service, everything is outstanding there. Huddle House has the best steaks by far.

I just wanna say I used to Love Rising Smoke and thought it was some of the best food Haleyville had to offer. Now, Sadly, the food has went down hill fast. Me and my mom got food there tonight just to realize that once again. I got ribs with potato salad and Baked Beans. I got a half rack of cold ribs, good potato salad and not baked beans but a baked potato. My mom Got fish with slaw and fries. She got cold fish, fries cold as a wedge and my baked beans. I hate to say this but many more trips like that and they will nl longer have my business.
