I’d have to say the pizza was delicious. I ordered and was told 1hr 20 min. Arrived at 1hr ten and was given a soggy pizza box which means food sat for a while. Mozzarella sticks also cold. Salad may be good but no fork and I’m not a hand tossed salad guy. I will give them another try as the pizza even though not hot was really good.

I never thought I would have to give this low of a rating to a restaurant, but I feel the need to inform the locals in NJ. I ordered the chicken limoncello, and I swear to saradomin, it was raw, as you can see from my images. And yes, I also rated the atmosphere and service a one star due to the rat I saw scurrying around on the floor, but surprisingly enough, I saw the rat more than my waitress. I was utterly shocked and knew I had an obligation to write this. I don’t know what recipe the chef used, but it was a disaster.

All the food was awesome! We started with the garlic rolls and marinara sauce- wow, they were great! Then we had the veal parm, which was one of the best I have had, perfect thickness of veal to breading, wonderfully seasoned topped with a good amount of fresh cheese and a huge portion, half of it went home with us. The chicken parm was equally as good. We also got the Bolognese which was awesome and rivaled what we have gotten in Italy, again with a portion that allowed for lunch the next day. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food came out in a timely manner.

Been here twice now, food has never disappointed. Even when it’s busy, service is great. I recommend a reservation, the wait can be long without one (although I’ve seen them offer pizza to those waiting).

We thoroughly enjoyed our first dine in experience at Russo’s! Reservations were easy to make with very accurate timing. The staff was attentive, informative and pleasant with smiles. The menu items we choose were scrumptious. Clam Flatbread, a special which began our meal, was tasty from crust to clam. Complimentary Garlic Rolls gave us a chance to sample their sauce/gravy. ❤️ Our entrees were the Lobster Mac ‘n Cheese – another special, and the Brooklyn Bolognese. Both were delicious, plentiful and spot on for taste. We ended the meal with Cheesecake and Flourless Chocolate Cake together with their extraordinary Coffee Fudge Truffle ice cream. We will back!! Soon!!

Enjoyed a nice family dinner at Russo’s. It took a painfully long time for our food to come out, but once it came out everything was super tasty. Looking forward to going back again. Calamari is always super tender, complimentary garlic rolls are delicious, and for me the pizza is as perfect as it gets.

Too much sauce on our entrees. Veal was so tough I had to ask for a steak knife. Lettuce in beet salad wasn’t fresh enough. Waitress was excellent. Food came out quickly. Portions were large, but I’d rather have a small piece of tender veal. Will try one more time. Maybe get eggplant parm.; at least the eggplant will be tender. Pizza looked good. Might try that. Nicely decorated. Also, AC was so cool I couldn’t wait to get out. That’s why only 2 stars For atmosphere.

Delicious Italian cuisine! I got the Brooklyn Bolognese which was meaty (pork AND beef!) and a perfect portion on a hungry evening. My wife got the Shrimp Rosa Diablo which I stole a few bites of and, wow was it good! Even the kids’ meals were fresh and homemade. Definitely no Kraft Mac & Cheese here! The ambiance was great, but the dining room is not very big, so definitely would recommend a reservation. Calling was easier than reserving through Yelp (especially with our larger party). Definitely would go again, but it is a bit more expensive than your normal everyday dinner place. I think it’s worth it for a nice night out though!
