The food was pretty good, but what impressed me the most was the extremely friendly group of people that go and work there. I had very pleasant conversations with some people that go there on a regular basis. Everyone was extremely nice, helpful, and courteous. I felt like I was back in my small town, even though these people didn’t know me. It felt like a little escape from the hustle and bustle of this city. I’m so glad to see small town community culture surviving despite the rapid expansion of Hermiston.

We decided to try Russ’s Place on the recommendation of some friends and weren’t disappointed. The staff is awesome, the food (we ordered pizza) is fantastic and the patrons seemed like locals, quite conversational.
