I came in for a late dinner just before closing on a Tuesday night, and ordered a brisket sandwich with a side of mac & cheese and chocolate pudding. Total was about 15 bucks. Got Carolina bbq sauce on the side – tasty, but heavy on the mustard. Brisket was tender, but a little dry and underseasoned. Mac and cheese was also under seasoned, but ok with some added salt. Unfortunately, the appearance of the salt and pepper shakers was a real turnoff (see photo). The pudding was mediocre at best – weird texture. I’d return to try another meat, but only because there are so few dining options in Emmett.

2/21/23 … I just found out this morning from their Fruitland location that the Emmett location has permanently closed. Idk why. Very disappointing to learn. I can only hope that the Emmett restaurant will reopen at some point.

So the first time I ate here I ordered 2 pork sliders they came on full size buns with a side.it was amazing…… Then I ordered the same thing and ended up with tiny sliders with no side .. Hmmmm what’s the issue if your gonna serve it do it the same way . You just lost a customer

I ordered dinner here tonight and I was a few minutes late picking up my order. The older woman at the cash register wouldn’t stop reminding me how close I was to getting my food thrown out. Then when I sit down to eat a pulled pork sandwich the buns are missing? I wish I didn’t tip them 20%

My boyfriend and I ordered takeout at 8 pm and when we showed up a few minutes past 8 we were rudely reminded 3 times by the “Karen” cashier that our food was almost thrown out. When we got home we sat down to eat and our order was missing rolls that came with our meal. If you’re going to insult your customers maybe try to have the bare minimum of service, like completing an order.

Web site reflects open Sunday 7:00am to 8:00pm. Called to place a pick up order seven times between 10:30 and 11:15. No answering machine and no one answered. Stopped by at 11:30 on our way out of town and they are closed. Asked the gas station clerk about it and was told they are not open on Sundays.

This place is busy, and no wonder. Their bbq meats are SO flavorful and juicy, and they have a great selection of sauces. I haven’t been disappointed in any of their side dishes. They’re all wonderful. Call in ahead.

Their food is awesome and the prices are just as good. I’ll definitely be going back, expect them to be busy but it doesn’t take long for the food to be done. Their sauces are great too!
