A little hole in the wall sharing space with the gas station – but man it’s so good! The food, portions, service, and prices are all so worth the trek to Fruitland. Wide variety of bbq sauces. I high recommend the brisket!

Used to love them. Hadn’t been there in awhile. Prices are up and food quantity and quality is down. Used to go there on Tuesday for two taco special. About three years ago it was $4 for two loaded tacos with choice of meat and drink. That was a great deal. I realize times have changed, but went there today and it was $7.50 for the same deal. Except, not near as much meat as they used to put on and their are obviously using cheaper brisket because it was like rubber and wasn’t seasoned as well. Didn’t even eat it. New owners should run it like the old owners. I feel I’m being generous with three stars.

The food here was deep in flavor, I had the special brisket MAC sandwich, which had lots of Smokey and meaty taste, the brisket was nice and tender and juicy. The Mac was as cheesy as you’re looking for. The potato salad was a little heavy on the mustard, but was still good. The banana pudding was absolutely perfect! If you’re stopping to get gas or just passing through give this place a chance.

I Had the special for the day. Bacon Mac and cheese burrito and added brisket. Sides were banana pudding (basic but tasty) and mashed sweet potatoes (rather tasty for being an out of season item).
