Our name Rusty Taco comes from our founder, Rusty Fenton who was passionate about food and had a dream to open a neighborhood taco stand. Was craving tacos for lunch, and decided to try this place out since I’ve tried just about every place in the area that sells tacos in the area. It’s a brand new restaurant, so I was not sure what to expect when I showed up. Upon walking inside, I noticed that the decor and vibe was very nice. I was greeted with a smile by a very kind and helpful staff member who happily took my order and made sure that everything was right before I was asked to post. The food came out very fast and was handed to me with a smile. I ordered 3 tacos of which the #10 Fried Chicken (staff fav style) was by far my favorite. I will definitely be returning here in the near future.

We came here tonight for the first time and every thing was perfect. From the gorgeous weather we took in on the patio to the Birria Tacos and the chips and dip. Their queso and guacamole were the best I’ve had in a while. I’m very picky about guac so I am usually hesitant to order it, I’m so glad I did. I will come back time and time again just for the guacamole alone! I also love that they have a “stronger” Margarita option called the Bandito that finished everything off. Try something new and stop out at this rusty taco, you won’t be disappointed.

One of the few places in West Omaha to get tacos!! So good! Their breakfast tacos are delicious, as well as all their food items. Great, clean atmosphere with personable, friendly staff! I can’t remember the guy that helped us but he was from Houston, Texas and he was super friendly and attended to our needs! Great staff all around! Will be mentioning this rusty taco to all our friends!

I would start by saying we really love this place! Close to home, food is wonderful, margaritas are BOMB! Amanda at the Bar is GREAT!! However, this past Saturday we planned on going but had a last minute errand to run, and so we finally made it at 8:50pm (not even realizing you close at 9) and super hungry, only to have one of the cooks come up to the register to tell us they close at 8:50. Not to mention some people had sat down and did not even have their food yet. Then there was this sweet little blond girl who came to us and said we are still open and took our order. Thank you for that! Amanda at the bar made us drinks still and said we do NOT stop serving at 8:50, and apologized. This will certainly not stop us from going out there, and I get it was pretty close to closing time, but maybe a quick chat with those cooks about customer service might help. Thank you!

We’ve gone here a few times. And it doesn’t seem to get better Atleast when we do takeout. We never ate inside the restaurant itself so can’t base anything on that. we tried a few of the street tacos and either they were very very plain. Or very watery . We did try out some of the specialty tacos and the dynamite shrimp one was great. However our other 2 were so water and leaking all over through the bag and even leaked onto my pants. The salsa is definitely very much watery there isn’t any kind of texture to it it reminds me of tomato soup. Very bland. And in the to go cups it leaks a lot too. The queen is good and the guac we loved the chips. Other than that is was a so so experience.
