Our founder Rusty Fenton’s dream was to bring the authentic taco stand experience to local communities and to become the neighborhood taco stand.
The dream became reality when the first Rusty Taco opened in a converted gas station on Greenville Avenue in Dallas, TX in 2010. But Rusty Taco is more than just a place for street tacos. Rusty also believed in serving the community and creating a place where people from all walks of life can come together and feel welcome.
We are passionate about what we do and keep our menu fresh and simple. Deliciously uncomplicated tacos crafted by hand with recipes created by our founder, who famously said: “Tacos are the Most Important Meal of the Day®”!

We ordered 2 tacos, a taco bowl, a beer, a swirl and chips with queso and it was $30. Service was good. The food was amazing and plenty for 2. One of the tacos neither of us cared for but that was a flavor preference, not an issue with the taco. I did not like the flavor of the swirl margarita at all but I did finish it and it definitely gave me a good buzz for the $8 (even cheaper on Mondays and Tuesdays). They serve Coke products as well

We like their tacos, they are a good value and are delicious. However, their kids meals are a joke. We stopped getting the cheese quesadillas because they’re always really melted and ultra greasy and our kiddo doesn’t like them. We tried the chicken tenders today, and this pic shows that they’re just absolutely ridiculous. It’s just disappointing.

This was a great place. The tacos were excellent, aside from the pork one. I didn’t care for it but I believe some people might. Queso was amazing and highly recommend the Uptown taco!

I love this place. Superb food and a patio shielded from sun can’t be beat in the Texas summer. I bring my dog to relax beside me whenever I indulge. I have tried many things but I come back for their cauliflower tacos. Can’t find them anywhere else. Today I have Fried Cauliflower tacos, Green Street Taco and street corn (in a cup).

tried three different tacos. pretty pricey for lunch at $5 each plus a margarita, which was not good at all (they pour whatever flavor you want into the same frozen mix so it’s super-syrupy in some spots and the other is just cheap mix). there are better, similar tacos in the area, I’d say the food quality was average at best for the price. skip this one and try a higher rated taco joint.

Had a great experience here. The food was great, and the margaritas were even better lol. Service was good and our food came out in a good time. It is a little on the pricey side with the taco prices, but other than that, I enjoyed this place.

Great place to take your family, the manager Brian is awesome! Definitely took care of us and made sure that we got great deals and took advantage of happy hour. As you can see the tacos are delicious and affordable! Perfect way to make sure that you don’t overeat order two tacos and go for the third one if you have the urge!

Not the place for lunch or tacos… $5 for one taco. It’s way over priced and plenty other place with great tacos as well…On average I would consume 3 tacos n drink. At this rate it would had been almost $18 for lunch. No thank you for regular lunch spot. only thing good was first time guest got free chips n queso, was the only positive visit…
