Wow! I’ll start by saying I’m definitely an omnivore who loves his meat. When we had our vegan relatives in town who wanted to meet up for dinner, I suggested Rut because I had heard good things. I was stunned with the flavor, textures, and variety of flavors offered. I had the “Salmon” and it was amazing. The tofu was blackened on one side and had great seasoning. It was served in a savory broth with charred baby bok choy and oyster mushrooms that rounded out a great plate of food. Highly recommended!

I am not vegan, and I have never been particularly impressed by vegan food, BEFORE TONIGHT. This has changed my entire view. It was some of the best food I have ever had, I couldn’t believe the sriracha aioli, the cheese on my burger, and the thousand island dressing were all vegan! I was floored. We visited during restaurant week and will definitely be back. I was worried the portions would be small, I was wrong! I love this place. Small, intimate, and amazing. Truly was in awe. Such an amazing meal!

Unbelievably great higher end vegan food! From our trip from Alberta to Los Angeles this was the best restaurant we visited. Very pet friendly, friendly staff, and a very unique menu made for great meals, as we had to visit again on the way home. They are also very accommodating with gluten free options, both food and drinks!

LOVE IT! It is so nice to be able to eat anything on the menu and everything is SO GOOD. I can’t say enough how much I love this restaurant. I’ve tried many things on their menu and everything has been delicious. Even my carnivore husband loves their food! The ambiance is also really nice and the staff is great. There is typically a bit of a wait but you can walk around the grocery store next door and it is completely worth the wait!

One of the most creative and unique places we have eaten in Spokane! Wow! We went for a late Sunday lunch and had the restaurant to ourselves. The food was incredible, but the standout dishes were the Thai ginger cauliflower wings and the walnut chorizo salad. The restaurant was super clean and bright, and service was friendly, thanks Brian! We will be back.
