Been a Ruth’s Chris fan for decades. But the last couple visits (this one included) have been somewhat disappointing. The steaks are consistently good, well seasoned, and usually cooked as ordered. But when I ask for “extra, extra butter…like swimming in it” and it comes out without extra butter, it’s a bummer.(Admittedly, my arteries don’t need extra-extra butter, but that’s a separate discussion).

This was the best steak I’ve had in a very long time. It was an anniversary celebration and they knocked it out of the park. They gave us special drinks and dessert. It was a gorgeous restaurant and the staff was very engaging and fun. We will def be back.

Had a wonderful Father’s Day dinner with the husbae. The service was great, and the food was even better. Touché to this location. I spent about $200 for a steak and lobster dinner with mashed potatoes , for an appetizer I had a Cesar salad, and two drinks.

Spicy shrimp was delicious. Got the filet and it was really good, tender, and melted in my mouth, however, I believe it was a little bit overpriced.

I had a great meal here. The filet was excellent! It’s a little pricey but well worth it. The staff are exceptionally warm and friendly.

Sizzle is a signature for the steaks. My bone in ribeye was cooked to the perfect doneness I requested. It so tender and juicy. The creamed spinach were just a tad over creamed for my liking but delicious none the less. The calamari appetizer was well prepared. Service was top notch and friendly. Attentive but not overly overbearing

I flew into DC and stopped there to grab dinner before going to my hotel. They seemed a bit confused on proper service. I stopped at the stand to advise that I’d like to place a to go order after calling three times and not being able to get a clear answer on if it was too late to order. I was then sent to the extremely crowded bar. I placed my order, and there was nowhere to sit, I was told by the bartender that I could have a seat at one of the tables by the windows they would be closing in less than 45 minutes. I took my drink and went and sat at the table only to be approached by the hostess and told those seats were for paying customers. No one advised me my food was free! I looked at her and advised that the bartender advised me to sit at one of the tables as the bar area was completely full. She said you’ll have to move. I said ma’am I’m not moving. Now less than 30 minutes before closing and all the tables in that area was open except for three of them, mine and two that other people were sitting dining at. The manager approached me and said these tables are for customers who are dining in. I said I have a to go order. You see my drink, and again, this is where the bartender told me to sit… the BAR is FULL, sir. I’m like, I know you’re not expecting me to stand and wait on my $89 meal, plus my drink was $18… come on. He was like okay you can stay here this time, but next time, it’s for customers dining in.” I advised him I was traveling and came straight there from the airport and don’t worry, it won’t be a next time! I absolutely love Ruth Chris Steakhouse, whatever city I’m in if they have one, I make it my business to go there. This was so unacceptable and disappointing.

The food was amazing! My steak was overcooked, and the server picked up the hot plate, dropped it, and splattered it on me. To which I was handed a napkin, and then he walked away!
