Our server was fantastic (I believe his name was Dustin), he’s the main reason the rating isn’t lower). We truly appreciated all of the efforts the staff went through to help us celebrate our anniversary. The steaks were ok, but they were overly done in some parts. The sweet potato casserole was amazing, however the potatoes au gratin came out lukewarm (also we’ve had them at other locations where the potatoes were sliced…which is much better than the cubed version we had tonight). The raspberry rosemary cosmo and the cheesecake were both excellent. The biggest problem was the valet parking. Drop off was smooth, no issues. When we went to leave, we waited nearly 20 minutes for our car. In that time, they asked us 4 different times which car we had and also asked if a different set of keys were ours. They had similar issues with the other two parties waiting. When they finally brought our car up, they curbed my tire and parked on top of the curb. It’s currently dark but it doesn’t appear that my car is damaged. However this really gave a sour feeling to our evening. Hopefully these are just some links they’re working out, as the restaurant recently opened. This experience was ok, but defin5not our best at Ruth’s Chris.

We visited Ruth’s Chris on Wed 1-21-15. When we walked in, the restaurant was practically empty. Now I know why. The food was lack luster, and when the server brought one of our party the incorrect menu item (missing twin lobster tails) she corrected the mistake by charging us another $27.00 for her error. I hadn’t noticed that she had charged us for her mistake until we arrived at home. For the money, Hyde Park is a MUCH better value and the service is superior. We will not be back. I spent nearly $600.00 for 5 people and was not impressed at all!

Again…same as prior review..where to start?? Interior decor.. not like any other Ruth Chris I have ever been to ..meh about describes it. Waiter was nice. But lack of detail from not completely removing the extra place settings to leaving dirty dishes piled up on the table?? A big no for this level of fine dining. Seafood tower for 2? Mushy crab is a definite no. Yet there it was, front and center. (Sigh). Salads were ok. The steaks arrived hot (to be expected), but combine the fact that both cuts ,(filet and my strip) had gristle and we’re not cooked as ordered? Again a big no! Won’t be back. With Jeff Ruby, Hyde Park, Mitchell’s, and Smith & Wollensky… I am guessing this place will be short lived unless they bring their restaurant up to par with the others. I had reservations about writing this but I would hate to see others get taken over a $300 dinner as we did.

My favorite place to get a steak! Classy and sophisticated. Oscar style buttered filet was probably the best filet I’ve had in awhile and that crab cake was to die for! Places like this are not meant to be cheap so if money is an issue I suggest you stay away. You’re paying for quality and that’s exactly what you get at Ruth’s Chris.

Recently celebrated my birthday and anniversary,. And as usual service was good and steaks were great…only issue this time around is my wifes steak had a tough piece on the corner of her filet steak. But otherwise really enjoy the quite atmosphere and the the manager is always friendly and stops by to check on everything every time im there. Overall pleased with the place.

Ruth Chris during the Xmas day , service was excellent,attending waitress was perfect, food presentation was flawless, food taste was seriously good. Perfect holiday dinner . I’ve visited this establishment before and I can tell you honestly they have never disappointed me .
