I was expecting great things from Ruth Chris and it was an average visit. We were there for my girlfriends Birthday and it was Restaurant week. This was my first time here but not my first time enjoying fine dining. Arrival they offered a coat check and then asked if we could share a hanger. I accepted the offer of fresh ground black pepper on my salad and a wad of balled up paper shot out in my salad. It was replaced immediately just made you question their detail when prepping. We both had mashed potatoes as the side they brought that out in one bowl. Again, I found this odd are they short on dishes? We had their first reservation available 4pm. The steak was prepared well and the shared mashed potatoes nothing fancy. Purchased a carrot cake to bring home that was average kinda dry. Didn’t even finish it. They asked several times who’s Birthday it was and there were beads on the table. My friend had ordered dessert as well cremebule. We were literally about to leave when they brought her out a birthday dessert. The decor and service were decent. I honestly do not see the hype for the price. My friend said her experience at Capital Grille was much better. I would return to Citizen Kanes over Ruth Chris personally. By more hangers and dishes instead of the fancy bags for us to advertise for Ruth Chris.

Lets start with vallet, no one was there when we pulled up at 8pm, but the hostess accepted our keys and ensured our car would be taken care of. Which was really nice. The food was very good. We had a server named Chris he was very kind and attentive. We started with an appitizer of seafood stuffed mushrooms(a must have!!) and crab cakes(they were ok)This place will run u about 45-130 for a steak. Sides are not included with the meal but are family size for 2-3 people to share. We had garlic mashed potatoes(first time out cold), lobster mac and cheese (little bland) and roasted brussle sprouts (great) my husband had the bone in ribeye, i had the 16oz new york strip. Very flavorful both steaks. We had water with our meal and 1 glass of wine. Over all bill was 195.00 not including tip. My brother recieved a complimentary dessert for his birthday. The bathroom was a liytle nasty, water all over the sink and toilets not flushed. Definetly not what i expected. Upon leaving vallet had our car ready outside. Which was very nice.

Great atmosphere! I enjoyed the best restaurant ribeye I have ever had. It was served on a 500 degree plate so it stayed tender until I could finish it. The sides we’re generously portioned. It was my birthday and I was surprised with a desert and a gift card for my next visit. The customer service, server, and other staff was great. We will be back.

My daughter & I’s birthday dinner was held at this location & the service was PHENOMENAL! Our waiter T.C. was extremely personable & took EXCELLENT care of us! The General Manager, Jeff Daniel came & brought me a birthday card with a $25 gift certificate. When he learned that it was my daughter’s birthday as well, he promised her a card & before the night was over he made good on his promise. The BBQ shrimp, ribeye steak, stuffed chicken, sweet potato casserole & aspargus were DELICIOUS!! They even brought out cheesecake & carrot cake with a lit candles for our birthday treat! Excellent job staff!!

I celebrated my birthday here Saturday and had the most amazing time. The staff is so consistent whenever I visit so I expected nothing less. Paul and Mike, our servers are amazing and incredibly friendly ensuring each of my 13 plus guests had a great experience either as a first timer or a regular. The manager Jeff was equally as lovely over the phone and in person. Jeff left a voicemail for me confirming my reservation and all the specifications for a party of my size. His voice was warm and friendly which matched his personality when i met him in person. I was treated to a card and gift card as a birthday gift and just when I thought things couldn’t get better, they brought me a carrot cake cupcake, walnuts drizzled in caramel, and a trio of chocolate covered strawberries. My friends and I had a wonderful time and will be back soon.
