Wanted to love this new spot, as i have tried another location, but have to say it was just good not great. Ordered three large combos for a small family dinner and while there was enough food, I expected more for $100. Tried the kalbi, bbq chicken, boneless ribs, fried shrimp and katsu chicken along with the usual rice and Mac salad.

If you’re looking for something different in the city, this is the place to go. Finally! They have the traditional Hawaiian food and drinks and even some fusions. This was my first visit (not the last) and I was indecisive on what to order but opted for the boneless beef short rib plate with rice and macaroni salad. It was very tender and flavorful. Nick was attentive and welcoming. TIP: Be patient as they are understaffed, so there may be a wait but it is definitely worth it.

Food is pretty good here. A lot of good comfort food. But I won’t be coming back. The lady working the front was clearly sick. Sneezing, blowing her nose. Didn’t wash her hands. Went straight to taking orders and handling to go utensils. No gloves or mask. Who knows what she handles in the back.
