If you’re in the mood for a banging cheese steak sandwich, this is the place!! The bread was so soft! Excellent spices and just over all delicious. The service was great. The atmosphere isn’t the greatest but it seems that it is mainly a meal to go place, even though we ate instead. This place has real potential with their food!!

Look the food is great y’all! I just can’t give them 5 stars. You never know when you’ll actually be able to eat from here because half of the time they are not open during their posted business hours which is frustrating. Also they took the cheesesteak egg rolls off the menu and I’m still mad about that

This place made me fall all the way off my September 30 day challenge! I ordered the shrimp and salmon Philly without cheese because I’m 95% vegan and 5% pescatarian. It was amazing! Seasoned perfectly! Didn’t need any condiments. I scraped the container with the bread! Next day, I got smart and ordered extra salmon. By the third visit I ordered old bay seasoned fries with salmon loaded on top! I can’t say one negative thing about this place other than I had to wait until Tuesday because they were closed Sunday and Monday! I’m addicted! All the employees were friendly, professional, & personable! Keep up the amazing job!

The food is DELICIOUS!!! I got a specialty steak with onions, mushrooms and peppers. The fries are fresh cut a fried. Will be visiting and trying new items. Plus you get a healthy portion I chose the 8in sub and could’ve easily cut it in half to share. Must go visit!!!

The first time my mom and I came here, they were closed. I can see why. The next time we came back, we got sub combos, and everything was good. The subs were nice and hot, and the fries were nice and crispy. This place is what Suffolk needs. We will be coming back soon.

Nice and clean restaurant. Nice owner. Food is delicious. I had the steak and cheese combo for $8.50 on Monday and came back to get the old bay wings on wing special Wednesday 8 for $5.99. Waiting on the coupons for Bogo free funnel cake sometime this month!!

The Philly Philly was one of the best Cheesesteaks I’ve ever had, and Cheesesteaks are one of my favorite foods. The bacon cheese fries were bangin as well. The Twisted Cinnamon funnel cake was EPIC! Oh, and to top it off, the customer service was top of the line, that I really appreciated. I would definitely reccomend you all try this place!

Let’s see: Where do I begin? I could go on all day about how impressed I was with this business, so I’ll get straight to the point. As you can see, the customer service was exceptional in how they treat you and cook your food. I’ve had lemon pepper wings all over this country. These are the first wings where I didn’t need to add any hot sauce! They were that perfect. The Philly cheesesteak was so good, I ate it while driving back to Charlottesville because I didn’t want it to get cold. So by the time I got home, I downed me a cold one and was sleep a half hour later.

The online ordering process was easy, they even included a curbside pick up option. Location is downtown Suffolk so it is not many spaces to park. The inside was a friendly clean environment & my food was ready on time. I ordered a salmon & shrimp cheesesteak & it was loaded & pretty good, it had a sweetness to it to which you can tell it was their own distinctive flavor.

While Ryan’s is fairly new in downtown Suffolk it offers a refreshing take on Philly Cheese steak and brings a nice bit of diversity to the area when it comes to the classics cheesesteak options. The winds are delicious and the Philly cheese steak fries are on point. Even better, the prices are pretty low and the portions are very large. Ryan’s Steak and Cakes is definately a place you should check out. Oh and I almost forgot about the funnel cakes… Nice texture, very nice spin on that as well. My wife brought 2 of them, a regular styled one with powdered sugar, the other was cinnamon and sugar. Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in downtown Suffolk, Va.
