First time, and Wow!, SO delicious!!! Just finished an amazing meal.. I got the Belgian Waffle Special.. the wonderful waitress, Kittie, let me substitute the eggs, sausage and bacon, for their biscuits and gravy.. I rarely get it, I’m always disappointed, but not this time, was perfect! And the waffle, soooo yummy! Great food and great value with BIG portions, SO hard to find these days!.. I’ll be back!!!!

Great place! We went in the middle of the week around 830 am. The restaurant was very quiet and not crowded. The waitress was very friendly and got our orders taken quickly. The food came out fast and it was great! The portions are huge! A lot of food and very well priced.

This was our first time eating at Ryder’s. I would love to go back, soon♥️ The young lady who greeted us was nice and we were able to choose where we wanted to sit. Our waitress was very lovely, cheerful and friendly Our drink order was taken and drinks arrived quickly. Our order was taken and the waitress had no problems answering questions about the food. Due to a medical diet, some things needed to be left off or altered which was not an issue. Our coffee ☕ and water glasses were never empty. The place was very clean and had a fun, classic, small town atmosphere. There is a cowboy and rodeo decorating theme. The music playing was classic country, went great with the decor and was completely wonderful, but not loud as to bother anyone or keep you from being able to hear your conversation. My food was wonderful!!! One of the best pastrami sandwiches I’ve ever had the onion rings were delicious, steak was cooked just right and the salad was piled high and amazing There was one thing that wasn’t good, the baked potato It didn’t taste good. I don’t know if maybe it was old, if it had sat too long after cooking or what. After telling the waitress we were offered another baked potato or our choice of another side. We chose mashed potatoes and gravy, which was good. This is now my favorite eating place in Oakdale!

I haven’t been to Ryderz in a long time but the thing I love most is their consistency!! I’ve always had good food here no matter what has been ordered, it’s what keeps us coming back! And the lovely waitress, she is always welcoming, super sweet, and on top of it all. She got us some waters to go since it was pretty warm out and we were very thankful! If you’re in need of a good portion of comfort food, a nice atmosphere, and great staff, this is the place.

So the waitress that serves us was great. That’s where The best part of this review ends. We both ordered the meat loaf which was microwaved with lumpy gravy. The baked potato was absolutely smothered in a heart attack. I wish I had asked for fixins on the side so my bad. Overcooked carrots and broccoli to the point of falling apart. And my salad at 1st looked like it was gonna be a good salad but it ended up being smothered in too much cheese dressing and apparently I must have been at the end of the cruton bag because they dumped all the crumbs on the salad which ended up making it way too salty. There weren’t that many people in the restaurant but those that were there were leaving quite a bit of food so I think our assessment of the food was felt by everybody. We would have been better off at the McDonald’s across the street. But the lady that served us was very nice . They need to pay her more because I’m sure that’s probably why most of the regulars are coming in.

The Waitress was great . But THE FOOD THEY GAVE HER TO SERVE TO US WAS It’s WAS terrible I had to use a shredded knife to cut my biscuit it was that tough the gravy was so hot it like a whole bottle of tobacco sauce was added to it .And to say my stomach did not handle it very well either. I recommend do not eat there Cost me $47.00 . I Called the Management to Complain the hostess said she was busy and would call me back well she never called me back me back . I save half of the meal . I could not eat IT .I’LL take back and show them .IF they don’t give me a refund !! they’re going to be wearing it on their front door!!!!!. This was the Worst food I have ever been served to eat in my whole life and I’m not kidding.the Waitress that served me is Virginia she was a sweetheart. It was not her Fault that Ryders gives that food for her to serve . My Daughter food for my grandson’s an Her Husband food was terrible also she was very disappointed ALSO . DO YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS A BIG FAVOR DONT EAT THERE.
