Perfectly cooked steak and prime rib. The hollandaise sauce on the steak is good and light. The wedge salad is amazing. Their bacon is thicker cut. 10/10 recommend an espresso martini.

A wonderful upgrade for the place! They kept the beautiful bar and changed the look of the dining area. It was very busy during happy hour but after 6PM it quieted down. Reservations are recommended. Food was very good. They had a PB&J burger that I am working up the courage to try. Our scallops, salads, pork chops and burgers were all cooked to our liking. The owner checked on us during the night.

Had such a beautiful baby shower this past weekend at The Rye Bar and Restaurant. We were so pleased with Melanie, catering manager along with Charlie and the amazing staff!! The food, event space and overall service could not have been more perfect! They went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time and the service was fantastic. Would recommend them to anyone in the area!

A well kept yet unassuming exterior is met with an amazing interior – from the waiting area that reminds one of an upscale hotel lobby complete with high back wrap around sofas and comfortable ottomans to the professionally decorated seating area and bar that makes one feel like they aren’t in Elmira, NY but rather a swanky upscale restaurant in New York City. We were seated by the owner of the establishment, Charlie, who spent time answering our questions about the renovations and was also able to answer all of our questions about the available bar drinks and food options. Our waitress, Hailee, was also knowledgeable about drink options and the menu – in addition to being friendly and engaged – we never felt rushed and throughout the meal she stopped by to check on us frequently enough to get a drink refill or to clear our plates but not overly bothersome – she had perfect timing.

We stopped here for dinner on our way home from elmira. I picked this placed from the reviews and the photos and it was a great choice! My wife ordered the rodeo burger with onion rings. The onion rings were fantastic. I ordered a peanut butter and jelly burger which I thought was odd and was why I had to try it. It was very delicious and a little messy. It was a very filling meal in a great atmosphere. All the staff was excellent and our server was great and personable. It was a very great experience and I’d definitely recommend stopping in for a great meal.

First time here for me and my husband, but my son lives in the area and has been here before. My son was on call and since Rye is located close to the hospital we decided to meet here. Great choice and we’d come back again. I was the only one having an alcoholic beverage and my Moscow Mule was great. We shared a variety of appetizers due to time constraints and they were all delicious! Recommend the bruschetta, wings and shrimp cocktail. Great service, wasn’t crowded, very nice atmosphere.
