Went for the first time a few days ago. The person ringing up was very nice and helpful navigating the menu. He even above & beyond and helped me to the car, I was solo with a newborn. We ordered chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits (not pictured), pancakes and theircatfish breakfast. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! Flavorful, seasoned well and the price was great for the portion. Will definitely be going back again

Service was great! Food was flavorful! Price was Right! Chicken was fried and seasoned really well. The skillet was PLENTIFUL! We dined in and it’s definitely geared towards take out. However, sitting down and being able to speak with the owner/cook was very nice and helped create a very “Home” atmosphere.

Gary’s hidden Gem! Had the chicken and waffles with cheese grits my sis had the shrimp and grits No complaints about anything chicken was crispy and fried to perfection, waffles were fluffy and both grits were flavorful and OMG! Definitely My new spot for breakfast..

First time in and I order the Meat Trio Breakfast Skillet and a side of Grits, when I say everything was delicious OMGEEE!!! The grits were perfect not too thick and not to thin with just enough butter. I’m big on breakfast so I’ve tried a few places in Gary, but S & G Waffle Shack is by far the best I’ve had.
