This was our first time to try this restaurant. And we loved it! The dim sum was great. The House Fried Rice was excellent. And the Orange Beef was the best we had ever had. We will be back!

Stumbled across this restaurant in search of something new. The food was hot and fresh. The meal was okay nothing that stood out. Very mild in flavors and the squid was overcooked; very chewy. My friend order a chicken and broccoli meal with rice; it was cooked to perfection. Very large portions. Definitely grab an order of their pineapple bun. Great alone or with ice cream or coffee!

I absolutely LOVE the server Donald, do not let the reviews scare you off from this restaurant. I have been coming to this restaurant for about two years and he is an extreme hard worker. He works every day the restaurant is open and he is typically the only server, while busing the tables, delivering the food, running the cash register, and answering the phone. He completely does it all. Although he does have a dry sense of humor and is very straightforward, once you get to know him he is hilarious and very nice.

My husband and I had never really had Dim Sum and we have been wanting to try it for some time now. Since we did not have plans this Christmas Day we decided to see if maybe they were open and they were. We headed around 4:30ish and just started ordering some of the Dim Sum items and we had a good time. It slowly got busier and busier. The only thing I wish they had was more hot tea options. They only had a green tea jasmine and I personally wanted Oolong but that wasn’t a big deal. Scoping out our next Dim Sum place for Chinese Lunar New Year.

Dim sum was actually quite a bit better than the score indicates however whoever prepared my dishes for me let them steam so long that the outer skin is just sloughed off invermush. I brought this to the attention of the owner who was also my waiter and he ignored it. The fillings of all the dumplings I had were all very, very good regardless of the rapper issue. The shrimp rice noodle roll was exceptional even though it lacked enough shrimp. The noodle itself was extraordinary with almost a vanilla custard flavor with an incredible texture. That dish was outstanding. Even after a nice conversation with the owner, he never offered an apology or tried to correct the obvious issue with the orders of dumplings that came out overcooked. Oh, the soup dumplings were very thick skinned lacked soup juice and not worth ordering. But I would go back.

Nice, modest place in Riverside for Chinese food. Dim sum options were plentiful. Food was served fast and hot / fresh.

My wife and I have dined here about three times. I guess third time was the “charm” and I say that sarcastically. I read the reviews about the dry humor of the waiter so I went with an open mind. Those reviews were accurate in that he has very dry and odd humor. It was not until the third visit that I had to renounce this establishment. Back to our second visit I asked for House Lo Mein without the pork and chicken with an addition of broccoli. The waiter instructed me to just ask for Shrimp Lo Mein with Broccoli instead. This is staple dish that is order in the northeast where I am from originally. On the third (and last) visit I proceeded to ask for Shrimp Lo Mein with Broccoli and the waiter become irate and begins to yell at me about how he cannot do that order. I was confused because it was a simple request, one that this guy told me to order the last time. Not sure why thought it was appropriate to yell at his customers but I grew extremely disturbed and confused. He must have forgot that I was a paying customer. My wife took our food to go instead and kept it moving. I don’t know whether or not he has a language barrier, but I know for sure he has a cultural barrier. My dude is not China, you are in America and you need to learn better customer service. The food is great however it is overshadowed by rudeness and poor customer service. I don’t wish ill things on anyone but I will no longer be a patron of this establishment. I would say this was an isolated incident but he has been consistently rude every visit. I’m good. You would think after the pandemic folks would have some sense as to how they treat their customers. Lastly, I’ve been to Hong Kong twice, not sure why they call themselves Dim Sum.

Hands down the best for fried rice. I always get the house fried rice and it’s amazing. The dim sum is amazing also! Donald is AMAZING, he usually serves us and he’s really nice and really funny. I suggest him as your server 100%.

Been wanting to try this place for a while and finally did. Ordered via grubhub app. Ordered the Pan Fried Pork Dumpling, the Fried Chive and Shrimp Dumpling, and the Pork Shrimp Dumpling. The bill was only $15 for these items. When I opened the boxes, it was all hot and steaming fresh and smelled so great. When I bit in I started with the Chive and Shrimp Dumpling and it was amazing. Completely authentic taste, freshly made. Definitely going to be coming back.
