Look no further! We would have every meal here . Risotto was creamy and Rich. Coffee was delicious. Fresh cherry juice, homemade Chai mix, pastries were fresh, salad fresh, homemade blueberry jam comes with the toast. Porridge gives you entree envy – soooo good. Thank you for sharing your amazing chef skills with us. We will return when coming back to TC!

My first of ever review on Google. This place is a MUST in Traverse City. Beyond that, it’s worth to visit Traverse City just bc of this restaurant. We had tartare and brisket waffle and me and my friend were both amazed at how they can offer Michelin star quality and taste of food at such a low reasonable price. As a person who has been to more than 15 countries and has encountered almost every food in various countries, it was a very, very satisfying meal and service that I would definitely recommend !

Without question, a major contender for best brunch in the area. It was hard choosing from the menu, because everything looked so good! The menu is very seasonal, and the food is absolutely beautiful (and tastes even better than it looks).

Sugar 2 Salt has got to be one of the best places I have ever been to eat breakfast. We pulled up for seating at the bar and had wonderful conversations with the ladies behind the counter. The food was absolutely brilliant. I don’t even know what could have possibly been in the food that made it taste so dynamic yet refreshing. It was savory but light at the same time. We enjoyed our breakfast so much that we were looking at the pastries in the display and thought we might take a few home for the children, which were also thoroughly enjoyed. If you’re in the Traverse City area and looking for a new spot or if you are traveling through S2S is the place I personally recommend to anyone I meet that is going to be in the area.

We had a great experience here for breakfast! The atmosphere is relaxed with upscale rustic loft vibes. Our server was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu.

Delectable and delicious. What an amazing place. Emily was just lovely and attentive. The food is out of this world and thoughtfully created. Everything is made from scratch (so be patient, it’s worth it) and they try to source locally. The ambience is comfortable and sunny. It may seem a bit hard to get there but don’t let that deter you. The food was just amazing. They gave us a bit of yummy biscotti they make while we waited for our brunch. The portions are great so make sure you give yourself plenty of time or be ready to take some home. This place is special and a really great find and asset.

Absolutely amazing food and staff!!! The owner is incredibly personable and welcoming—she waited on us as we sat at the bar and her positive attitude is infectious. I had the risotto and my friend had the quiche. Both were incredible and nice size portions! Everything (even the ketchup that came with our side order of fries) is homemade! Freshly squeezed juices and fresh ingredients. We will definitely be coming back!
