Very traditional Mexican food. Wonderful combinations of food and delicious flavors. Everything is freshly made to order. The service was exceptional. Very reasonably priced. Already have been back for a second and third very very delicious dinner meals. There is also a very well stocked bar. Do not miss this gem in Blue Ridge.

The good reviews brought me here. My experience was anything but four or five stars. Walking in I noticed the door was filthy. I always think if what you see is dirty, how dirty is what you don’t see. We ordered Mexican Guacamole. It never came to the table. The waitress never checked to see if it came. But did charge us for it. She took the order and we never saw her after that. The food we did get was good. That’s the only reason I gave them three stars. But, the service and the nastiness was a real turn-off.

Sabor a Puebla was surprisingly good. It’s elevated Mexican cuisine in an unassuming place. The tamale was one of the best I’ve ever had— the sauce was rich and flavorful and had lots of character. I’ve been on a birria taco kick, and those definitely did not disappoint— they were gooey and messy with the perfect dipping sauce. The avocado rose was a nice, unexpected touch. The nopales were tender and yummy. I washed it all down with a Modelo Especial with El Chamaquito playing in the background.

Food was quick, delicious and super tasty! Highly recommended! Got to-go food! I believe I got the Birria Tacos with Al Pastor. Rice and Beans. And the Grilled Chicken topped with Chorizo on a bed of onions and mushrooms. Topped with cheese. I cut that all up and made my own nachos: Bar area was gorgeous, tons of potential when it gets busy. Everything was great, included my server.

04-24-2023 lunch menu ends at 02:00pm. I had the Chile Poblano plate. All the food was very well prepared. Chips and and Salsa served before meal the Salsa is thick and with chunks of tomatoes . Mild but if you wish a bit hotter just ask for some hotter and mix to desired level of heat. Very good experience, will return. See photos.

Only a few patrons were in the restaurant for lunch at 11:30, possibly a testament to the establishment being new and having 5 other competing Mexican restaurants within a mile radius. I think there were only 8 patrons by the time we left. Lunch fajita was a large portion, delicious, and priced under $15. Service was friendly and prompt. Restroom floor was wet, which made walking with flip flops tricky. Mexican music played overhead and the building was freshly painted with bright colors. I will return.

Really liked it here. My kids ordered birria tacos that they LOVED. I ordered sopa del mar which had very flavorful seafood, my husband got regular burritos that were moist and flavorful. Plus my husband and I ordered adult drinks, a strawberry margarita and a blue Hawaiian, both very yummy!

This place was great! Food was delicious, service was excellent, homey atmosphere. We got the Sopa del Mar and the Enchiladas Mole at the waiter’s suggestion, both were delicious.

A very good addition to BR. A notch above the others, with cultural dishes. Delicious spiced margaritas, tacos, poblano entrees and the traditional molcajete! An affordable experience!

Not a bad item on the menu! I had the Enchiladas Poblanos, absolutely amazing and we loved the Choriqueso. The chips are fresh and the attention to detail shows in every item. Service was great, and I loved the strawberry margaritas. We will be back when we’re in back in town for sure! Very reasonable prices too.
