Decent enough to return. Check out their daily specials – I went on “kid’s eat free” day. A lot of the foods appear to be of Mexican origin; however, they have foods from DR, Columbia, Venezuela, to name a few. I got the carne asada fries and pork belly tacos.

I thought this place would be fantastic based on reviews. I was less than impressed. Got the Carne asada fries. It was a very small portion considering he price, and the flavor wasn’t that good, along with several gristles. The white queso also not great. It’s basically white velveta with some seasoning. Definitely not authentic white queso that I’m accustomed to with Mexican food. Staff was nice, but that’s all the positive feedback I have.

Amazing place and good experience!! Owner was very friendly, nice, and inviting. Took the time to help us and explain things and go over the favorites, etc. There is a lot of good food to choose from so it was hard narrowing it down. The food was amazing and drinks were a pleasant surprise and were some of the best we’ve had! We will definitely be returning and probably will put this in one of our favorite places to eat in Winston. Thanks for such a good experience and such amazing food!!

Overall Thoughts: We saw an ad for this restaurant on Facebook and decided to give it a try. Overall, I’d give this location 4.7 stars. The people there were super friendly. The food was very good. The only detractor (for me) was the location. There is nothing wrong with the area, but you have to be looking for this place specifically to find it (thank you Google Maps).
