WOW! The food was really good and the portion size was huge. I got the chicken with yellow rice and plantains. She put some of the broth on the rice and man did it taste good! Cost me about $7 for a portion size that is good enough for two meals (lunch and a great midnight snack with the leftovers).

Decent breakfasts and Latin lunches/dinners from a local Palm River/Brandon Mall area venue in the big Texaco station at Causeway and 78th Street on the eastern side of Tampa. Pricey for breakfast sometimes if you order too many a la carte extra items like double sausage patties or extra bacon or corned beef hash. Dishes can jump from $5.42 to over $7 if you get more than their designated group of eggs and bacon/ sausage and potatoes standard breakfast. Taste of food is pretty good with a home made flair. Remember this is a gas station quick mart Latin Foods venue, though they do have tables and the food is home-made.
