I can’t understand how this place was totally empty on Sunday morning when every other breakfast place had long waits. Chilaquiles with carne asada and the breakfast burrito were both soooo good. Service was friendly and helpful.

Was hesitant to order from this place. Reviews were very mixed. I think the ones that gave it a low rating were more complaining about the staff being unfriendly. Ordered food to go and was very happy with everything. The tampiquena was very flavorful. The mole sauce was delicious. The Guac and nachos were pretty standard. Queso was good and the portion was big. I would definitely order from this place again. I would stay away from ordering the more bland food like chicken fajitas and go with the more traditional dishes.

This is very high quality & delicious Mexican food and we really enjoyed it. The restaurant was super clean too. I don’t understand why this place doesn’t have a higher rating. If I had to pick one thing that I thought could be improved it would be the tortillas. The pre made ones just don’t do the rest of the food justice IMO.

Let me start by saying Marcos and Maria were absolutely fantastic! We only ate the late night menu and it was delicious!! We can’t wait to try the regular menu, but if the late night food was any indication it will be a treat. The selection of Mezcal and tequila was top notch! Do not miss this place if you have a craving for authentic, south of the border taste and hospitality! 10 out of 10

The Nachos and Fajitas were tasteless I’m unsure about the quality of the meat they used. Worst fajitas I’ve EVER had. On the flip side the ceviche was the GOAT. It made up for the rest of the meal. The service was very good, environment was nice as well. Will return only for the ceviche. Avoid the Fajitas at all cost.

30 minutes sitting, nobody asked anything, just two waiters finishing charging a couple of tables and refilling drinks for others, until I asked who our waiter would be, I asked for two soft drinks and my order 10 minutes later the soft drinks arrived. I understand the work can be frustrating to a certain extent, but if the served tables have already finished eating and drinking they can wait a few more minutes for them to charge and they should give priority to the new tables that arrived at least to bring drinks

I am not sure about the rules in submitted reviews but, I was surprised to find out my original review for this restaurant is gone.

Delicious enchiladas and tacos! Loved the margaritas too, especially the strawberry one. Staff was so friendly! Will be back soon.

Lived within walking distance since these guys opened, and I am sad to say we just got around to trying them out. OUTSTANDING menu, and full of amazing flavors. Camarones Mayo was excellent. Portions were too big for this big boy to finish, but rather than splitting it with someone else at your table, I would recommend taking half of it home for leftovers. When the rice and sauces all blend together, it’s even better the following day!

Went to have dinner with my son after a long day at work. We got Alfredo as a waiter-server. At first he seemed okay. Food was okay, not as good as it once was and is way over priced. I have eaten there several times as a local and it’s always been decent. I ordered a Jamaica juice and they charged me $8.00 and had it under horchata, completely different drink. That’s outrageous and it was hardly anything to drink. I asked our server for sopapillas and he looked at me and replied rudely Soup? I said no, sopapillas..which I have ordered here several times with a cup of coffee. They may have changed their menu but he clearly had no clue what those even were. He never actually came to our table to check on us. He asked us from behind the counter if we needed something. He was far from attentive to our table. His attitude changed when I asked for the check after our dessert conversation. When he brought the check he tired to tip himself 20% and take control of the visa scanner. I asked for it and with that he got the very low tip he deserved as he stood over me trying to intimate me to tip him better. I will not return or ever recommend this restaurant again. Overall food is okay. Way to over priced. Horrible service. Got to La Perla or Chimayos they offer fresh food and far better service.
