Update from my visit on Sunday, March 17, 2019. We went to have a nice lunch there on this day. Big mistake. Not only did our food take forever, but my camarónes al mojo de ajo was more like cold shrimp smothered garlic. Lots and lots of garlic. See pic below. I couldn’t even finish the shrimp. So gross! My girl had a chicken burrito with extremely spicy green sauce. She couldn’t even enjoy that. Bad all around. Not sure I’d ever get this plate again. I’ve never had a bad experience with this plate any where else. Extremely disappointing.

What happened to talpense? I tried new place and it was bad. The chips had stuff on them like if they had dumped it in from another person. It was gross took my appetite away don’t know if I will return, really sad been enjoying talpense food for a long time. Will miss it!

This place was a pleasant surprise! The best food that has been in that spot for years, I’ve seen restaurants come and go there and they haven’t been very good. It’s nice to have a good place to go to locally again. The food is definitely authentic and their soups are delicious! My husband and kids all enjoyed everything that they got too. I would definitely recommend this place.
