The owner is nice but her workers are very slow. I had to come back because I forgot to order the kachumbari, a Kenyan salsa, and it took a half an hour for them to give me. That is so ridiculous, it was already made, all they had to do was put in a container it seems like they were doing it on purpose, I don’t know why. Next time, I’m not tipping them anymore and I will raise hell, I know it doesn’t take that long. I would give 5 stars but the wait time is so long I took of 2 stars. Get it together.

This place is great! Don’t let the negative reviews turn you off, the food is incredible! It takes a long time for the food to come out so just plan around it like any other place with a long wait time. I’ve always ordered here and then gotten drinks next door at the flying lying. The owner will bring the food right to your table 🙂

My older brother Abdullahi always would get the Ugali and fish plate. Thanks to him I learned about this restaurant. Amazing food with amazing people who work there!

Very friendly people and really great tasting food. If you are worried about the speed of the orders they mentioned next time I could call ahead, but personally, I wasn’t in a rush and it didn’t seem like it took THAT long to get my order.

Really great food. However, the worst thing is you have to wait an hour and a half for your food! Even for simple drinks, I had to keep asking the waiter for drinks after 30 minutes. Surely please work on your wait time! I would love to keep coming because the food is great but that wait time is ridiculous! If you want to come here better call an hour ahead for your food.

Customer service is horrible. The wait time was really long. The lady came out of the kitchen blowing and picking her nose with no gloves. The food was horrible. Doesn’t even taste like Kenyan food. My boyfriend and I ended up getting sick after eating here.
