I ordered the 20 piece fried shrimp “special” which was $18 for just the shrimp alone. It comes with no sides. Ordered $3 side of bacon black eyed peas. So $21 for 20 shrimp and black eyed peas. Kinda expensive place to eat. My order was good except it seemed the grease used to fry the shrimp may have been over used because the shrimp were borderline over fried/chewy. One of my daughters ordered the shrimp nachos for $15. She asked for no lettuce, no crema and no datil pepper sauce on the nachos. I noticed when she was eating her nachos I saw this white sauce drizzled all over the nachos. I asked her what it was and she thought it was white queso. I was saying to myself, “ok, it doesn’t quite look like white queso but alright.” So, she ate the shrimp off the dish and said she couldn’t eat anymore because it was making her a little nauseous. So trying not to waste money, I took a chip off the dish because I was going to try to eat more of the dish to not waste money. Well, after eating a chip and tasting what she thought was white queso and then actually tasting what WAS really white queso on the dish, came to realize that they might have put crema on the dish anyway even though she said no crema and it was even on the receipt. So, I asked the waiter Stephen H what it was, pointing at it. He replied “that’s crema”. I said, “She asked for no crema. This was made incorrectly and she didn’t enjoy what she ate.” There was a long pause of awkwardness because he just stood there. Then he finally asked “Did you want me to see if I can have it cleared off the check or something?” I said, “Sure, if you could. It was made incorrectly.” So, the waiter leaves then comes back minutes later saying that they took $3.75 off the bill and because she ate the shrimp (I think 10 came on the dish, mostly nachos) that they couldn’t refund the entire $15 for the incorrectly made meal. So I had to pay for a meal made wrong. Bad customer service. My other daughter ordered the $12 burger and $1 to add cheese to it. She said her burger wasn’t that good. The meat patty had no taste/seasoning. So, mainly due to the poor customer service with the wrongly made dish plus food taste/quality issues and definitely on the expensive side for what you’re getting, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Oh man, top notch hostess greet you at the door with big smiles and ensure you get the seat you’re looking for as long as it’s available. The server and also the bartender was very attentive and great with his spiel. Me and my girl got the crab dip it was outstanding the ratio of season to crab was perfect and wasn’t overwhelming. The taste of crab was complimented so well with the spices that they used. The blackened fish tacos were on point and had my girlfriends taste buds wanting more and more. I got the deviled crabs and they were plated well and the mixture of stuffing inside of them was so moist like mommas stuffing on thanksgiving with that burst of crab flavor had me shell shocked (pun intended) if you’re looking for a reasonably priced restaurant and amazing service and culinary excellence I highly recommend safe harbor. Although they are lacking liquor the quality of the food makes up for it. They do offer beer wine and seltzer.

Conk Fritters overcooked and tasted like the fried okra, which would have been okay, but my okra tasted like grease. So I thought I was being smart by ordering my crab cakes grilled instead of fryed. Super disappointed crab cakes had no flavor and small pieces of crab shells embedded. So ill the rest of the day. The service was great. My server was very attentive and kept my sweet tea filled. She also gave me a complimentary piece of . Keylime pie that is. For my birthday.

Sherry was an awesome server. Great cod fish and chips plus side of seasonal veggies. Food is reasonably price. Beer not so much but it was a good time nonetheless. Highly recommend this restaurant for their amazing service

Quick trip up A1A to Crescent Beach to try out Safe Harbor Seafood Restaurant in Crescent Beach. We enjoyed our “Captain Walters Pick 2 Combo” platters, Mayport Shrimp and Scallops, available grilled, blackened or fried. Comes with two very good hushpuppies and a choice of second side. My friend chose the cole slaw; it was collard greens for me (delicious). Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Food came out quickly and perfectly prepared. Prices are very reasonable (our platters were $20 each). Open Tuesday thru Sunday 11 am – 9 pm. Highly recommend.

We have tried other places in town or close by and we were disappointed so today we tried Safe Harbor and we were so pleasantly surprised! The host and our waitress (Adrianna) were delightful and helpful. The restaurant is very clean and bright. The food was amazing especially the “pink” sauce recommended by our waitress. We will definitely be coming back here.
