I’ve never had a bad experience here and the food has always been excellent. In my opinion, it’s the best Indian food around the area. The Friday lunch buffet is my go to for the week, great price for quality & quantity.

I have been here 2 times. I like the service, staff is really good. Ambience is ok. We were not disappointed both times. The tandoor platter is really good. Would definitely ask you to order food spicy otherwise it might feel little bland to Indian taste but if you were never into spicy food this is your place.

We’ve been to other saffron kitchens before. This location is small, but has lots of large windows and offers an airy atmosphere. We got takeout on our way out of the area so I can’t say much about the service, but the receptionist was friendly and attentive. The food was good, some proteins a little under-seasoned/marinated but certainly not worthy of a complaint!

No. Not ordering Indian food here ever again. Tiffin is absolutely better. Not only the flavour of Saffron’s Goan Shrimp Curry ($22) was bland, but the Paneer tikka masala ($17) was well under expectations. Oh, and the prices were insane. Two samosas were $7; the only item that good out of the whole $76 meal. Folks, I will stick to Tiffin and so should you. No one should be subjected to both inflation and quality “Shrinkflation”.

A little under staffed, but don’t let that keep you away from this tasty BYOB.

One of our favorite places to eat. As the only non-vegan member of my family, Saffron is one of the few places we can go that has multiple options for everyone without having to special order. We often get takeout but love dining in as well.

We took my mom to the Bala Cynwyd location last night for her 89th birthday. We had a wonderful time—the food was delicious and the staff & servers were all very attentive and helpful. They even played a happy birthday song on the sound system while we had cake. I have always had a great experience at Saffron Kitchen but this was the best!

i love indian food… but i love SPICY & authentic indian food. for starters, the chicken curry was $20, the sauce was literally watered down pasta sauce tasted just like red sauce you put in spaghetti. My meal had no flavor what so ever, if you’re looking for a chain indian restaurant RUN to tiffin instead.

The food was better than my usual fav! I would come here all the time for my Indian Food ‘fix’ if I lived closer, 45 min is too far every week! The chicken in the masala was moist and the sauce was just the right tasty spicy. Everyone else liked what they ordered and were sure to take home what they didn’t eat. Many people arrived while we were there for takeout.
