…from the moment you walk into Sagos you get a feeling of hospitality and a grand view of the Pasquotank River! The decor has a casual elegance that makes you feel welcomed. Staff is attentive and the menu, I feel offers something for everyone. We were there during lunch but were able to take a peek at the dinner menu. I personally am excited to try several of the entrees on both menus over the next couple of weeks. I was, however surprised that there wasn’t more seafood options available (but hopeful there will be special Chef selections available in the future). I definitely recommend trying Sagos and deciding for yourself but as for me, this will be a favorite hang out for my family and I .

We dined for lunch and had a great experience!! The fried shrimp appetizer and the pork belly were just perfect!! My husband really loved the shrimp and grits and kids devoured their homemade chicken tenders. One tiny suggestion is to mark the gluten free items on the menu but our server was super helpful in this subject too. Thanks! We will be back!

Atmosphere and service were excellent. Went for lunch and I wanted to order everything on their menu. The inside seating and bar area was well lit and inviting and the outside patio look fun. While there a boat docked at the slipped and a member of the wait staff went out to provide service which was another great feature of this place. Overall, highly recommend and we will be returning.

Sagos is a fantastic addition to downtown Elizabeth City! So excited to have such a gorgeous place on the water to enjoy. The design and decorations look amazing. The crab cake sandwich and fries were spot on. The bar is beautiful and I highly recommend the Pineaperol Sour. Very refreshing! I look forward to returning and bringing guests to experience the wonderful riverfront view!

Checked out Sagos for dinner after seeing the renovation all summer. It was really great to see in person. The space is bright yet cozy and the vibe really gives vacation retreat without leaving home! The service was great as well and I’m definitely interested in trying more drinks. I recommend the shrimps and grits. We’ll definitely be back again soon.

So excited to have a great new restaurant in Elizabeth City! The restaurant is beautiful; finally great food with a view of the waterfront. We loved the dishes we tried and the great wine list. Lots of local ingredients on the menu, and some delicious seafood, which too few local restaurants feature.

Overpriced for Bland tasting meat and overall simple dishes. The descriptions of foods on the menu are better than the actual food. Nice location and service but was thoroughly disappointed with food we could’ve made better at home.

My girlfriend and I came here for drinks on a Saturday night and it ended up being the perfect place for that! There was plenty of seating at the bar and our bartender, Carlee was super great. She made her first-ever margarita for me and it was so good that I had to have a second. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a higher end experience!!
