They have really improved kofta kabab. I tried few time last year, was not impressed at all but recently they change the recipe and it was delicious. I gave 4 stars because is a bit of pricey and portion could be more as well.

Wonderful food. Moreover, I was extremely impressed by service recently. We ordered pita and hummus, and they accidentally forgot to include the pita in the order that was delivered. When I called about it, the owner immediately got in her car and delivered it to us. Can’t say that would happen in many places!

First time we ordered here because of the great reviews ! We order 4 gyro’s & 1 Shishkebob sandwich All of our pita had multiple spots of mold on it. Obviously this will be first & last time getting food here. So disgusted! $65 wasted! When we called the owner lied & said it was “fresh bread” ! Disgusting save your self money & a headache

I ordered 2 Falafel appetizers and a vegetarian plate. I was informed it would take 30 minutes, this was an online order, I thought 30 minutes for Falafel was a bit long, but figured I’d wait. When I entered the Grocery store / darkened restaurant almost 40 minutes later, the lady/cashier knew my order right away. She said “just a minute,” and disappeared into the backroom. This is when I thought I was either being pranked or had somehow become part of a Seinfeld episode. I stood there at the cash register for the next 25 minutes, alone, well almost alone. Not one worker or person from Sahara 34 was to be found. In that time though, 2 shoppers came in and asked me about prices and could I “ring them up” on the cash register. I explained that I did not work there. They left the products they were going to purchase and I left never even having a sniff of a Falafel. I must say, Sahara 34, was an excellent name choice, because I never felt so deserted in my entire life at an establishment that I think, may serve food. The absolute worst.

This place was just flat out weird! When I first walked in I was left standing there as no one was in front until a child came to seat me! Then a woman came over, and I asked her what the shish kebob platter was because it didn’t say what type of meat it came with. She said she didn’t know, and went back and asked. She then said it was lamb, and I then ordered that dish. I received no pita or any type of bread in the meantime while I waited for my dinner. When my dinner arrived I asked the waitress if they served pita with the dinner, and she replied no. She then said did you want pita and hummus and I said yes. The lamb kebob ended up being good, but the rice it came with was HORRIBLE! It was like a five year old cooked it! It had lots of burnt pieces, and it was all dried out! It hurt my throat even trying to swallow it! I wasn’t even served any authentic dipping sauces to go with my dinner either! The pita and hummus were just ok. I definitely don’t recommend coming here, and I regret not going to Koy Turkish Grill in Marlboro where I always have a delicious Turkish dinner!

My boyfriend and I wanted to do brunch at home. We ordered Falafel, Hummus, Fries, and Fattoush Salad. Everything was absolutely delicious and I’ve been looking for a great middle eastern place since I’m new to the area. I highly recommend this place and I’ll be back again!!!

Meat quality is the worst. Food was cold and hard like a rock . Don’t even try . You can eat any food but this. Worse experience in 30 years.

After going to Jordan two years ago, I found it impossible to find hummus or falafel just as good…well, I found it. Amazing food. The owners are super sweet. The restaurant is attached to a market which is also filled of authentic goodies. I might become a regular.
