An absolute must try! I’ve been eating at this particular location for 10 years, it’s always the same folks working, they fast, friendly, clean, courteous, and always generous with their portions.

Not the fanciest inside but clean and that is all I need if the food is good, and the breakfast was. If you like middle eastern cuisine I recommend the lamb and eggs. First you will be served unraised bread with a generous plate of hummus and plate of tabbouleh. The the main course is a plate of scrambled eggs with a generous amount of lamb mixed in. The plate also has tomato wedges, quarter of an onion, and pine nuts. The amount served is also generous, come hungry.

Read all the positive reviews so my wife and I tried them out. Unbelievable quality and portions! Also clean and friendly inside. We have tried at least a dozen Macomb County Mid Eastern restaurants and have been disappointed with dried out chicken, kafta, shwarma, etc. Not here, all juicy. We prefer onions and green peppers instead of rice…wow did they deliver perfection on this request…even the carrots which I usually avoid had to be eaten by me due to the appearance, very tasty:) My brain cannot even process how good this food is! We ordered the $40 platter to eat at home and it’s fantastic. Food for later and tomorrow too! Plenty of pita bread for wraps:):):)The Toum spread (garlic dip) is great too! The only restaurant that can come close to this is Malek Kebabs but they are in Dearborn and Livonia and not close to us. Yes, only Maleks can claim to be on this level…nobody in Macomb County that we have tried can top this:) I will not mention names that have dried out food or tiny portions because the only name that matters here is Sahara. We simply do not got to the others any more. Sahara will be tried many more times. If they are consistent and only minor errors occasionally, then they have our business for life after that:):):) This is delicious food!!!

I entered the restaurant alone at 12:00pm sharp.I was the only customer.I was totally ignored.few minutes later a second guest entered and sat at a table. He was attended to immediately and served while I was still waiting for someone to take my order.a couple of minutes 2 customers came in together.the waiter took their order while I was still waiting . A fourth customer was attended to immediately

This place always has very good food and sandwiches. Ordered a chicken cream chop sandwich and a lamb shawerma sandwich and they were both excellent on pita bread. I been to this place many times and I am always a happy customer!

Falafel sandwich with hummus can only be elevated with tabbouleh for an extra taste of indescribable freshness that transports you outside it’s so fresh, &/or the delicious garlic spread. If they aren’t your thing rest assured you’ll love it with just hummus.

Chicken shawarma had nasty dark meat (I could not identify this so called meat) and stringy gizzard like stuff. Twenty bucks blown! Do better Sahara, money is tight and food should not be wasted, ever.
