Great service, very neat, halal food, the interior design beautifully makes you feel you are welcome. The mixed appetizer is enough for 4 persons people. We have ordered as well Tika Chicken and Shrimp with the homemade lemon sauce.

This is by far the most authentic Mediterranean food I have ever tasted ! Loved the variety of all that was offered and it was (both times) healthy and incredibly tasty ! What a fantastic location right near where the Detroit Tigers & Lions host games so is a great alternative to all the fast food in stadiums. Service by Ferris, Evalina, & Erica was exceptional! They truly care about each customer & had me in & out before the rain could (& would) have stranded me. The owner is tops and went above and beyond to ensure my experience did not disappoint. I was very soon back for more! Sadly I’ll be leaving town yet feel very impressed with this family owned restaurant for more than 4 decades now… Wow !

Amazing restaurant!! The food at this place was great and reasonably priced! Great customer service! I went alone and had lamb chops and they were so good!! I also ordered a fattoosh salad which was good as well! I came after a Tigers game and I’m glad I did! I will definitely be back. You also won’t wait long for your meal to arrive!! 10 stars!!

OMG!! Where do I start? My husband planned a surprise 70th birthday luncheon for me here. We had a large party. 14 adults and 3 children. Everything was exceptional! The food was great! The atmosphere festive! They played celebratory music that enhanced our experience. Our waitress was Darianne (?) and she was the best! With so many people vying for her attention with special requests, she never once lost her cool. She was always pleasant and accommodating. Whatever we needed…she provided for us, with a smile! I had the Chicken shawarma lunchbox, with rice, hummus and garlic sauce. YUM ! I can’t wait to go back there again, just me and hubby. I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed!

I really try to avoid negative reviews, but there are some issues which need to be addressed. The staff was very friendly, but really lacked in their ability to provide a good experience. We waited 15 minutes before seeing waitress; 25 minutes for our appetizers and drinks to arrive, and the drinks were not made properly. We had to find our own silverware; then go to the bar to get refills on our waters; the meal came out wrong, and quite honestly there wasn’t much food for the price. Based on them being a new restaurant, I will give them a three star, as once again, the staff was very friendly, but many things need to happen for me to visit again.

From the moment we walked in I enjoyed the experience. The place is beautiful, the music kept me dancing, and the food was great. The waitress Dina was outstanding and the fact she had to put up with my company was perfect. She laughed at all his not funny jokes. Then she even offered to belly dance as she does a belly dancing show there on the weekends. Now don’t let her fool you it’s her. Definitely will be coming back and excited to see the business grow. You need to go there now!!!!!

The drink menu is super creative, the pomegranate smash and the Sahara sidecar are amazing, well balanced and simply said, delicious. The food was so good, fresh and overall one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The lamb chops, were by far the best I’ve ever had, and the service by all was exceptional. We came late and they made us feel welcome and not rushed at all. I am recommending the anyone and everyone. Great Job Sahara team!!!

Food was amazing!! 10 min walk or 4 min drive from Hotel Indigo. Server was very nice but bussing dishes was not a priority. Also, the road that GPS tells you to turn on, you can not. It is blocked for outdoor dining.
