If you are looking for fresh authentic food with soul and care you won’t find it in any other place in Rapid City! There are complaints on the reviews about the wait and price, however in comparison to the price of other restaurants in the area, it is comparable. The wait is well worth it!! If you’re in a hurry, this is not the place for you. Every dish is cooked individually, which makes it fresh, warm, and arguably the reason why it takes time to get to your table.

I did Togo food from here. Good flavors, fried spring rolls really good. Large portions. Just be patient, they are still short staffed right now. Plan/call ahead if you are going here, their orders take a few. But I’d order here again!

I first tried ordering off the lunch menu only to be told they long do lunch specials. Why are they using outdated menus? That’s always been a pet peeve of mine with restaurants. I eventually ordered the ginger chicken and it took 40 minutes to prepare even though there were only 2 other people in the restaurant the entire time I was there. The ginger chicken was good but not worth the wait time nor the price. For a small restaurant the prices seemed to be excessive which may explain why there were not other people there.

Exceptional Vietnamese food! Best restaurant in Rapid City by far. It’s family owned and operated. The mom/grandma is the main cook with her kids running the place. Yes, they are slow so prepare for that ahead of time but completely worth the wait.

Customer service at the front register was great BUT the food was horrible. The taste and the smell of the food was horrible. I would not recommend this place. I am not sure if the ingredients used were expired or this is how the food is usually made but it was bad. The spice level was also weak. I order medium spice but it tasted pretty mild. The vegetables were soggy the rice was stale and the sauce was just bland. Please also note that the doors close at 8pm. Restaurant hours are incorrect on their website and on google.

Fresh made to order food. Really the best Chinese and Vietnamese food in town. Great service very friendly family owned restaurant. Food takes a little bit longer to cone our than most places but is well worth the wait everytime! Love this place!

There’s only 1 patron ahead of us. We got there right when they open. Didn’t get our food until 1 hour later. I ordered a pad thai and was told it isnt sweet but more tangy and spicy. No, it was not near tangy. It was so sour i can’t even eat more than 3 bites. The pho broth is pretty good for the area. Oh and when our food was being brought out, it was at least 5-10mins in between each dish. By the time i got my pad thai, the party i came with already finished their food. I’m Asian and rating asian food. I’ve had waaaaaay better authentic food. Seems like they woke up with no recipe and just slap everything on the plate. Other than the bad food, the ladies were walking in the restaurant bare foot. Dirty toys in a tiny corner of the restaurant were available for small children. Yuck! So…1 star for okay broth. Otherwise…i would not recommend this place for anyone and would give this place a 0 star if i could. Good thing I’m not from the area and sure won’t be coming back.

was kinda effy per all comments but gave it a try since my family disnt want anything too greasy. place was a bit cramped but works. food was excellent. coming from mn, this place has a very tasteful broth. surprisingly all of our dishes did not have that oily greasy after taste. there were a few items i wanted that werent available. No tri color, which is a dessert nor were there any cream cheese wontons. the spring rolls were $8!!!!! There were only 2 too. No way was I going to pay.that much unless it was giant spring rolls. overall, it was a good choice at the moment.
