The service was excellent- everyone there was friendly and attentive. The food was honestly disappointing. Spring rolls were fine, a little bland. Egg rolls were strange tasting. Beef veggie stir fry had a decent sauce, pitiful amount of beef, and the veggies were cut up in a kind of lazy unappetizing way. The pho broth was pretty bad, kind of sweet and tangy, and noodles had an oddly firm texture. Nothing really reminded me of the typical flavors of Vietnamese cuisine that I am used to. The restaurant itself was a little shoddy, which is fine, but having flies all over the place was a little annoying. Sorry to leave such a harsh review, but hopefully they can improve.

Delicious Authentic Dishes. Soup was excellent! Great Service. It’s a BYOB TOO which is a plus!

We ordered two of the pork barbecue with vermicelli. It is SO good; we ordered it the last time we visited Chincoteague and ordered it again this visit. This dish is so tasty as are the sides. The roasted peanuts were very fresh and did not have the taste old peanuts get. We also liked the pickled veggies and dipping sauce. Our waitress was very personable and offered suggestions on places to visit.

the Banh mi was very good and I would get it again, but the barbecue dish with the pork egg rolls is even better. They also have good done in and take out services. When taking out though the sodas were not cold.

Food was good by any standard. Our server was new and seemed confused and overwhelmed by two tables at once. But she was friendly and ment well. I was just happy to find a place that I could get a decent, vegetarian meal on the island. I’d come back if I was in the area.

Refused carryout service for our family until 8pm as per their schedule and it was only 6:30pm. The dining room was not busy at the time. I asked for an exception for our special needs son, who cannot handle being in the restaurant dining room, and they said no. The young lady in the dining room said they “might” get busy so they won’t take our order. Our son Eryk is unable to handle the noises in the dining room and it is unfortunate that the “Chef” decided our family unworthy of an exception. When eating out, Eryk’s food allergies limit what he can eat and Vietnamese is one of the few types that work for him. Our whole family is vegan so there was no other option on the island. Very few people step up and help those with special needs and Saigon Village was not at all helpful.

I ordered the wrong dish. It was spicy, and I don’t tolerate spice well. They very graciously allowed me to order something else.

Food was good while we ordered spicy curry the spice was missing. The portions are small. The service was fantastic. The atmosphere is that of a local eatery.
