Cute little place. Very clean. They were busy the whole time we were there and yet the waitress was attentive and without delay. Two people had hot dishes and they looked amazing. I had sushi and the flavors were crisp and clean. We will return.

I went here after having to walk out of KC sushi. I’m so happy I did because I found this place. Waitress was great and helped pick out stuff we might like based on what we were ordering. We loved everything! We go out to sushi often and just moved and this is the best place we have been to so far. The unagi was amazing. They have booths. Staff greeted regular customers like friends. Great environment all together and the sushi is amazing!

Came in for takeout. Ordered two rolls and miso soups. It took over an hour even though they weren’t busy. One server sat us at the bar and went off to chat with another table, never to be seen again. The other server didn’t show up for another twenty minutes. When he took our order, he didn’t know much about the menu or Japanese food in general and was unable to answer questions. The food itself was very bland, lacked authentic flavor. I heard Mandarin and possibly Malay spoken from the kitchen, further bringing into question the authenticity.

Absolutley loved it. The food was excellent and the amosphere was very relaxing. The best part of this dining experience was that all the dishes were not packed with food the proportions were just right so you had to enjoy e ery last bite. The meal is very diverse sushi wise and even the kids loved the food. Higly reccomend. Also the food was so good I did something I have never done in a sushi restaurant….I didnt touch any soy sauce and didnt realize it until my way out.

The food here is really good, and the service is very fast. We enjoyed our meal very much, including crab rangoon, egg roles, soup, sushi, and fried rice. It wasn’t very busy, so we were seated right away on a Sunday night at about 6:30 pm. I would definitely recommend Sakae Sushi!
