Been here twice and both times we really enjoyed it. The ginger salad alone is worth it. Want that dressing recipe. Sushi is wonderful and fresh tasting. Shrimp tempura was very crunchy and flavorful. Will be back for sure! Also try the ginger martini!

There’s hundreds of 5 star reviews for a reason, I wasn’t expecting this place to have the amazing quality it does. Ginger salad is a must, obviously the sushi is absolutely delicious. Dana our waitress was super sweet, can’t wait to come back.

Worst ever hostess. I think she’s also the owner. She never greets the customers warmly, always seems angry. Not a good first impression. She waited on my friend and I last time I ate at Sakamoto.When the bill came, I paid with cash that included a good tip. She came back and accused me of short changing her. I know I gave her the correct money for the bill and a tip, but she insisted that I didn’t. Such poor customer service. I haven’t been back since.

This was our first time at the restaurant.Everyone enjoyed the Sushi. It would just be nice if it were a more expanded Sushi menu. The teriyaki shrimp & chicken hibachi was just okay. The fried rice was not good…it was over cooked —I didn’t see anything in it except rice—no eggs or veggies. The rice was too dry. I did like the ginger mixture to dip the hibachi ingredients into.

Terrible service. Sat for 15 mins without menus or water. Got our entrees before our appetizers. Forgot 2 dishes. Sushi was all cucumber and imitation crab and no fish. Tempura was all batter and undercooked. I don’t know if it was just that night but I will never go back.

The sushi and other food is really good but expensive for it’s portion compared to other sushi restaurants. The staff is respectful and the place looks clean. The waiting time is decent depending on how busy it is. Good for take out.
