Would not come back to this location. As you can see the siomai looks like it was frozen and heated in the microwave. Sushi was also not good, didn’t taste like sushi at all, wasted our money that night. Maybe other locations are okay but this one in Spotswood is a big no!

New sushi restaurant. We ordered sashimi lunch and a teriyaki salmon binto box, and any 2 rolls. I have to say the food is not bad, only average. The sad part for a sushi restaurant their Rice is dry… The sashimi lunch price is a bit high for the quality and quantity of the fish.

The 1st time I ordered take out from Sakana I was told 20 minutes. It turned out to be 45 instead. The owner gave me a credit, and apologized. We gave them another shot tonight. We ordered at 6:15 and was told 20 min again. Got there at 6:35. Not ready. Waited another 10 minutes and inquired. Was told another 10 min. Mind you, there were only 2 tables occupied. The rest of the restaurant was empty. Finally, at 7:10, almost a full HOUR after we ordered, it was finally ready. I complained to the owner and I was not even offered an apology. He just blankly stared at me. Never again. I don’t care how good the sushi is. This establishment doesn’t care about their customers.

16 large pieces for the lunch special at $12 which is a really good deal. It was so fresh and delicious. I picked it up and saw the restaurant which was clean and the woman in the front was so nice! Spicy mayo was delicious. Rice was sticky and flavorful. Will definitely be back.

Great rolls! Got the spicy tuna and shrimp tempura. Tasted fantastic; great flavor, wonderful texture. Takeout was fast and correct. Polite on the phone and in person. Restaurant was very clean, no fishy smell at all which is key for any sushi place. Will be eating here again!
