This small restaurant has a great atmosphere for families. I say this because it delivers great tasting, affordable, and most importantly, fresh food. The food here is clean and freshly made on site. It is also good to eat for takeout. However, it is best eaten on site in the restaurant. Overall, it is greatly priced and tastes great for a small Asian restaurant.

Talk about a diamond in the rough…. All kidding aside, this was some of the best tasting sashimi I have had. Excellent quality and presentation. The large pieces of fresh fish weren’t ice cold and tasted as fresh at the end of my meal as my first bite. I will be back … and I’ll bring my friends.

they straight up lie to customers about when your food will be ready when you call to place an order. last night, they said 30 minutes…i showed up after 25 and ended up waiting another 45. they give you an amount of time when you call, and i honestly don’t think they start making your food until you wait in line and speak to them at the window.

This was the worst experience we have had. Sakana used to be our go to for sushi in the area but now looking for somewhere else. The wait time is absolutely ridiculous. If you are told a time to pick up, you are waiting for your food after arrival for the same amount of time if not longer. We were told 30 min, when we got there it was another 50 min to wait after arrival. Our soup and hot appetizers were cold and we had to reheat. Not an enjoyable dinner and the quality of sushi didn’t seem the same either. I think we are done with this place. Oh, I forgot to add that there was a piece of plastic in on of our soups.

The Sushi was excellent. The problem is that the place is mobbed and you have to wait outside since it’s take out only. They need more staff. It is totally worth it though.

Too many poor reviews based on waiting time. If you want bad food quickly, go elsewhere. If you want excellent food that takes a bit of time, come here. The review criteria should separate the product’s taste from its waiting time. Good takes time, and your impatience is taking away from hard working people who serve very good food.

The mangagement/owner is terribly rude. Over the phone they will tell you 30 minutes. The last two times I ordered from here I waited an additional 30 minutes in my car in the cold.

Have been going there for years. Wait time is insane. Always wait an extra 20 minutes, at least. Tonight I ordered a shrimp teriyaki and the shrimp was so tough you needed a knife to cut it. Won’t be going back. Too bad.

The food tastes good, but the prices are comparable to what you would pay at a restaurant with much nicer decor and a full hibachi show, while they offer neither, and you are expected to pay extra for foods normally included in those other restaurants. Service was very slow each time we went, and no effort was made to clear the table or refill water glasses without tracking down the server each time. They’re not bad, but I’d rather drive to a neighboring town for a more enjoyable experience.
