The service was great and the waitress was very attentive. The $9 beer and sake combo + 50% off an appetizer (when you order the beer) is a great deal. The sushi was fresh and was really tasty. I ordered: C4, 108 degrees, rainbow roll, and lemon roll and my favorite was the rainbow roll (if you like classic) and 108 degree roll (if you like fried rolls). I probably would not order the squid salad again though because it was too salty and rubbery. Prices were average about $16-18 per roll of 8 pieces of sushi.

I really wanted to like this place after all the great reviews, but I don’t!, and it definitely was not worth the $54. Tonkotsu ramen and spicy tuna roll ordered to go. Ramen very bland and grilled pork just does not go with ramen! Spicy tuna roll pretty good. Hubs got a Philly roll and he said it was good as well, but the spicy udon was good, but would not order it again. I will say they took great care in wrapping g our order and keeping everything separate which I really appreciate! Food was also ready when they said it would be and it was still hot by the time we got it back home.

I ordered a spicy shoyu ramen and I did not expect the driest, nastiest piece of chicken in any noodle soup I’ve had in my entire life. Even a plain unseasoned and flavorless chicken is preferred. It is a Japanese tradition and standard to have a marinated egg in ramen, but this place serves a simple boiled egg instead. In fact, the egg is beyond simple. It literally has NO flavor at all despite being submerged in the broth. The “spicy” shoyu ramen is not even remotely spicy. Maybe it’s salty but that’s all it has going for it.

The sushi here is always fresh and delicious since the first time I went 6 years ago and the most recent visit last week. The menu variety is impressive and the creativity thoughtful. Eddie the manager helps us pick out the best rolls to order and the employees are very friendly and sociable at the sushi bar. Our regular go-to sushi place! Yummy.

The best sushi- and I’ve tried about every sushi place in the valley. Family always meets up here for dinner, and has for about the past decade or so, and it’s never disappointed. Very generous servings for the price. Thick slices of sashimi for only $15! Highly recommend.

Haven’t been here in 5 years, and happy to see it still remains a solid place for sushi. Only bad thing was we waited excessively long for our sushi, and was starting to wonder if the server forgot to put our order in. Well, the server did in fact forget to put our order in, and offered to comp dessert. I felt with that wait, we should have had one of our rolls comped. Despite that little snafu, everything was great. I haven’t had a roll I didn’t like yet. Their selection is quite extensive.

Sakana is absolutely incredible! We love this place and we love sitting up at the bar. The food is always so fresh and we love seeing Juan and Eddy making their sushi creations.
