The food is usually REALLY good . We love this place!! Last time we went to the Mt Holly location the shrimp was mushy but everything else was good.. the food just seems like it’s going down.. the spring rolls aren’t What they use to be…I use to choose this place over Belmont or Gastonia but now I’d say Belmont is the best!

Upset: Ordered 2 Hibachi steak dinners well done & 2 ginger sauces. Got 2 Medium well, lots of pink went in trash, 2 Shrimp sauces instead, & carrots were not fully cooked! A waste of $. So, they can’t read, nor cook right??

How this place is over 4 stars is beyond me. It simply wasn’t good. It lacked flavor. Tasteless. Maybe because I grew up on Asian food living in Hawaii and Seattle. I don’t know. But this wasn’t good. Like Panda Express isn’t good.

Mt Holly location. Great service, limited seating, good food. Had teriyaki chicken and zucchini. No go on the egg roll as it is pretty much all cabbage. Will go back, but the Belmont location has more options including sushi and soups. I am not sure that I have ever heard of a Japanese restaurant that doesn’t serve sushi or soup, but this location does not. It doesn’t hurt their business as they are always super busy.

Food was really good, the employees were allowing their conversations carry over into lobby. They were a bit too loud. Service was as good as expected. Didn’t necessarily go above and beyond.

The rating is now 90 and there’s three serve safe stickers in window (3 free health code points) so know that when you eat here your risking your family’s health because it’s technically an 88 rating. I don’t feel too good about the various chemical and old mops hanging over half wall facing the road behind the restaurant either.. this place used to be phenomenal what happened?!

Fair. The food is ok. The building is a little rough. It concerns me that if the building needs maintenance, how does that reflect on the cleanliness of the food prep area. There’s a lot of young people working there and the drive through was packed. My stomach was tore up the next day all day after eating there. Not sure if it came from this place or not, but I won’t take any chances. Not going back. Everyone was pleasant. Sweet tea is like syrup.
