I have always enjoyed this restaurant, but had noticed the quality had gone down just a little bit in their sushi over the last two years. I am extremely pleased that their original high quality product is back. The fish is very fresh, the nori is supple and tasteful, and the rice is fluffy and sticky. I love the salmon deluxe meal, and the quality of salmon is exceptional. Even the miso soup tastes like someone just made it. so happy to have sushi in Mebane!

They open at 11am but the Hibachi (if you want them to cook in front of you) starts at 5pm. We were the only ones for our table and the service was excellent and very entertaining. The food was also good. I would definitely recommend and visit again.

The staff is not friendly and seemed annoyed when asked for refills or napkins. Felt rushed when asked for our order. The food tasted good but wasn’t hot when brought to the table. Maybe the service is better when eating at the hibachi tables.

We had a great experience here. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly enough. Our hibachi chef was very entertaining and did a great performance for our 3 year old. We got shrimp, steak, salmon and scallops. The steak was a perfect medium rare and the scallops were very tasty and juicy. We had our doubts but were ultimately surprised and ended up having a great time.

My chicken hibachi (not at the hibachi table) was overcooked and the rice portion was very lacking. While small, the rice was one of the best I’ve ever had! Spring rolls were the smallest I’ve ever seen, and I’ve lived in 14 different states! Service was mediocre, the server scuffed her feet while walking! The biggest benefit to this was the close proximity to home and the interstate.

We sat at the hibachi table. The cook was excellent and very entertaining. However they will overcharge you when the bill comes if your not calculating yourself. They added things we didn’t order and then they changed the prices on things we did order. I called them out on it and they said the prices on the menu has changed and they can’t just keep printing out new menus everytime their prices change. Huh??! I told them thats false advertising and made them fix my bill. There is no way our bill should have been $119 for three hibachi dinners and a $2.99 lemonade. It’s sad that these establishments try to swindle people out of extra money and think American people are just supposed to deal with it. Also they add a 18% gratuity automatically. It’s like your being robbed without the gun.

Good food and very nice staff. A bit pricey, but I’d have to say, worth it. We ate here for my husband’s birthday. He really enjoyed himself and they’re very close to our home. We will definitely be back again.
