Honestly quality has significantly diminished. This use to be one of my favorite sushi spots but the past few times I have been the flavor has not been the same. This last time the sushi did not taste fresh and gave us a stomachache. The crab salad also had way too much dressing which was overpowering. For being the only people seated at the restaurant service was pretty slow. There is an older lady that works behind the counter who always has a bad face and gives the customers nasty looks. It’s always easy to get a table, ambiance is casual.

There’s a reason we came here 3 times in our 6 day vacation! The food here was exquisite. Miso soup was the best I or my husband ever tried. The crispy crab salad is decadent. The sushi was prepared to perfection (monkey roll, hulk, miami, mandrake, and monster tempura). The dessert (nutella banana roll) we had was a delicious ending! The recommendations of the staff were much appreciated and very helpful! Walter and Francisco were our servers over the course of our 3 visits and their service was excellent! The owner was very knowledgeable about the menu and sake. Thank you to the staff for making our trip unforgettable!

Used to love this place but recently had the WORST experience. I ordered via their website on their GOOGLE LISTING, and never got a confirmation. Upon calling the restaurant the girl on the line informed me that the site on their google listing was. It correct, basically it was a scam…. And that there was no reason why this was occurring, but that everyone knew about it at the restaurant, and there was nothing she could do. It seemed incredibly shady and unprofessional. Additionally there was no manager available. After being charged over $100 I had to cancel my credit card. Will never eat here again

Totally recommend this place!!! We came here first time and I’m so happy to have my birthday dinner in Sake Room. Team was great. We asked about some special rolls. So, the waiter (I do not remember his name) was very nice and helped us. He picked all on his taste. And he got it!!! Everything was AMAZING!!! Thank you guys!! You doing a great job!!! For sure we’ll recommend for all our friends from Chicago that place!!!
