I used to work at Sake Toro since K.C owned the restaurant and I see some reviews stating the food is not good anymore. I went to Sake Toro a few weeks ago and I have to say the food is still amazing!!! They have kept the same menu and they even put some new great things on the menu! The service has improved immensely as well as the atmosphere in general. Look out for Jerry, Logan, Felix and Patrick they’re all OG’s and will definitely take care of you!

Been looking for a 5 star sushi / sashimi place since we moved from California. It took eight try’s, but we found it at Sake Toro! The quality of fish is far superior than anyplace we tried in Frisco and Plano – this even surpasses our favorite spot in CA that we frequented for 20 years. To boot, the service matches the quality of the food.

Wow! Things changed since new ownership! Waited an hour for take out. Charged more than the food for Changing one ingredient. $17.95 lunch special was over $32! Server Alyssa was great though.

This place has some of the best sushi in Frisco! Great service and a chef who really knows his product. I’ve been coming here for years and have never had a bad dish. Sometimes it gets very busy which will slow down the service, but the food is always worth the wait.

First off I regret not taking photos of my food because every roll, appetizer and plate of sashimi we ordered was beautiful. I took my husband here for his birthday Tuesday late afternoon and was floored at how great this place is. Not only is the food excellent but so was the service and over all atmosphere. I can’t believe how great of quality the fish was as well. Hands down this has to be the best sushi I have had in the DFW. Truly worth every penny we spent. I look forward to being back!

Spent New Years Eve here on a double date with my bestie! Their Ultimate Vegetarian Roll was seriously delicious! When I called ahead Logan was so helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, she helped me find vegan items and even checked the kitchen to find out that their tempura doesn’t have milk or eggs in it! She was so sweet and also ended up being our server. 10/10 will absolutely be returning for more great experiences here 🙂
